One of the best puzzle games I've ever played.
Whoever made this is a genuis. The game is fun and the puzzles are brilliant and make you think.

Only complaint is the game is very short.

Get it on sale.

I usually don't make long reviews, unless it's a game that got overlooked and worth giving a chance.

Mad Max Is an Action RPG Open-World game developed by the same studio that brought you Just Cause games.

At first you would say "Another game based on a movie? Nah, it will be crap"
But this isn't the case. This is really probably the best movie tie-in Video Game in long, long time.

This Game feels like a 3rd person version of RAGE (remember RAGE? another post-apocalyptic game).
You get a car, you upgrade it and your arsenal, gets to several areas/strongholds/camps, meets new people, gets missions and so on.

The Story, however isn't really that outstanding.
Mad Max gets picked on by War Boys, stole his car and he want to get it back to continue his journey, instead he found a guy that offered him a "Car with potential". But Max found out that car can't withstand the harsh environment, so he need to work hard to upgrade it so he can get out of the place to somewhere else.

Mad Max is a 3rd Person Action RPG. That means you navigate through the world. Loot scraps, fight random enemies and loot them, destroy threats, help strangers, take down strongholds and upgrade your companions' ones for services.

The combat is a kin to that of Batman Arkham Games, you use you arms to strike down enemies and break their bones and necks and you can carry weapons to crush skulls (the game is so violent btw) while countering incoming attacks.
In addition of that, you have a shotgun for quick kills but ammo is so scarce and hard to find.

In Vehicles. Your Magnum Opus equipped with a Harpoon to pull enemies and objects with and a Rocket-Launcher-like weapon to destroy other cars and metallic gates and a Sniper Rifle to take down long range enemies. With further upgrading, you could make your car a moving flame thrower.

During your navigation in the world, enemies will ambush you, chase you and annoy the ♥♥♥♥ out of you.
You can shoot down their cars' tires, blow up their engines and take their loot for bigger scraps.

The World is that big, so many activities to do.

As for collectibles. There are historic relics that give you some other people's thoughts and concerns from the world before the Nuclear weapons fell. They are really interesting to read.

The game is surprisingly very detailed. The environment, the locations and in-doors places are very well-designed.
like the sand hills which looks beautiful and realistic in the desert areas, and the mountainous and valleys areas looks damn gorgeous giving the perfect post-apocalyptic sight.
The Character models and animations are detailed, high quality stuff.



The worst thing about this game is probably the Boss Fights. There are several Bosses (named TopDogs here)
in each Stronghold and at the end of several missions. But the problem is.... They Are ALL the SAME.

They are all the same design, same pattern, same animations, and the same way you have to do to take them down.
It feels like it's just 1 boss that spawn in different locations. No variety at all. Good thing they don't appear all the time so it's just a matter of choice to encounter them all.


Another unique, but annoying feature of the game.
The upgrade system doesn't rely on the player experience points gained from battles or missions.
Instead, it rely on Challenges made throughout your actions. Like defeating enemies with specific ways or take them down within a specific time.
In addition to character upgrade point which you can spend on Health Points, Loot/Ammo/Water/Food bonus,etc...
That's for Max's character abilities.
For Car's upgrades, they get unlocked for more reduction of threats you made in the world.

Other upgrades are only unlocked for completing specific missions.

Don't really know if i can recommend it for a full price or on sale. I got it $20 and enjoyed it.
So, it's depends in your budget.


The Good:
+ Too many things to do
+ Combat System is well-made
+ Taking over Strongholds and Camps is fun
+ Collecting relics is a fun read
+ Upgrading Max and the Magnum Opus is super rewarding
+ Beautiful and detailed world environment
+ Missions and side missions are varied

The Bad:
| Upgrading things you want can takes too long time to unlock
| Lowering threats for car upgrades can be repetitive and annoying

The Ugly:
- Absolutely no variety for Bosses. It's just 1 Boss with different skins.
- Max has an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ character.

I'm glad i didn't support the developers with their weekly DLC infestation.

Vanilla game is playable and really fun. Although you can't use most of weapons.
And this is the first game in history to make throwing grenades a DLC ability.

Although it was fine. But now they shamelessly putting micro-transactions, lying to the community, game became DLC-to-Win, and you have to f*****ing update EVERYDAY for DLC content you don't even have.

I got tired of updating the game everday, and for what? NEW DLC CONTENT BUY IT NOW!!!!.
I would update it if i bought the DLC, but no. You are actually getting the DLC files but need to buy to unlock them.

Buy it if you:

-Have no problem with microtransactions
-Have no problem with DLCs shoved up in your butt
-Have a great internet to download updates every few days
-Can Enjoy limited weapon arsenal and tools and other items like masks and "paints/colors"

Otherwise, game is fun with friends as it is.

Shelter is a unique little game. Where you are a mother Badger with 5 cubs to take care of.
You need to survive 5 areas with your cubs. You lead them, feed them, save them from other animals while you cross lands and waters to a safe place.
It's kinda a survival game, without HUD or surviving bars on screen.

- Refreshing, new take on survival games concept.
- Atmospheric and nice music
- Edgy & Emotional. Sometimes it makes you happy, laugh, worried, guilty or depressed.

- Too Easy to get lost because of the level design
- Suicidal cubs AI
- Short game (Not really bad for me, but probably severe for some others)

Yes. I recommend this game if you want a fresh breath from loudy games.
But as i stated before, game is short (2 hours long) plus a seperate Extra mode (Nurture).

So If you don't have a problem buying a short game for $10, go ahead. Otherwise wait for a sale.

A Great Time Killer and a Great Game overall.
Very addicting and really fun anytime you play.

If you are a noob, novice, so-so or an international pro. You will like this game.

Customizable Items, multiple angles of view, bonus missions to test your skills, offline and online matches, puzzles, and
almost all the popular Pool versions (8-Ball, 9-Ball,etc...) And it's really not expensive.
What's more you want? .

VulKaiser, a shoot-'em-up 70's mecha anime styled little game.
There are no FMV, voices, ground-breaking graphics, etc...
This a return back to 80s old-school MAME/Arcade era.

Unless you are a big old-school mecha fan of the days of Mazinger Z, Grendizer, Getter Robo and Jeeg
you probably won't find anything interesting in this game. As this game is a mock of the above-mentioned animes.

The Story is extremely simple, you are a new little guy that got picked up to pilot Earth's strongest robot (70's cliche basic plot). You fight Aliens that decided to invade Earth (70's mecha plot standard).

The Game is also mock the infamous and terrible "Yellow-Subtitles" that is found when downloading old anime online. It's called HK-Subs or HK-Releases. Hong Kong release these animes with EngRish Subtitles, colored Yellow and it's laughibly terrible.


As a 2D shoot-'em-up game, there's nothing much to highlight about the gameplay.
Your robot has support team, where each one has unique plane that combines with you that gives you different weapons and abilites. Vulkaiser can combine into 4 different planes to become "ThunderKaiser, DrillKaiser, NeedleKaiser or RockerKaiser"
each has their own weapons set and super attack.

The game is challenging, where you will see "Bullet-Hell" moments a lot. and no power-ups other than the mentioned support planes. and no HP-Regeneration until Level-Complete (just a small health boost though.

The Game consists of 6 Levels (Probably more with hard and Super Hard modes), each level in a different location (Earth, Space, Monster's body, etc..) and a unique boss.

- Game only run at 4:3 screen with 640x840 Resolution
- You can't modify game files. A shame really i wanted to put some other music from my favorite 70's mecha shows.
- Game can be beaten in 15~30 minutes, afterwards nothing much to do except playing again and again to get all the achievements or trying harder modes.


-70'S ROBOT ANIME GEPPY X (PS1): Both games are extremely alike, both mock up the 70's mecha genre. This game however, has FMV Opening, Ending and even "Mid-Episode" Commerical Ad. It's like a TV Show!

-Mazinger Z (MAME): except it's vertical but pretty much similar.

-Gradius (NES): same game, instead of robots, it's a space jetfighter.

I Hope i wrote everything about the game that let you decide weather to get it or not.
But if you want my advise, Unless you are 20~40 years old that remember the good old days of robot shows like Mazingers and Getter Robo, and/or if it's not in "unregrettable-price" sale, don't get this game.

Simply, if you played other "Hide-and-Seek" games like Outlast and Amnesia, you will love this game.

A great and a quality designed survival horror game.
This game is so detailed in graphics, sound and gameplay mechanics.
The game also has one of most advanced A.I in gaming, no really. The Alien can sense you, hears you, tracks your movements and it knows your gameplay pattern over time.
It makes you feel you are in the 70's movies.
Atmosphere and mood build up perfectly. It's so tense sometimes, make you so tempted to even move a muscle.

Personal Rating: Like Outlast. Great Game, although i didn't find these games so scary as many people claim to be. They are still worth playing and fun to play.

I played several Sea Hunting games before, and this is one of the best so far.

A Fun Relaxing Game, where you take missions in different oceans to hunt fishes, find treasures or just take shots with your camera.
The money you collect from scattered coins and treasures help you upgrade your gear and gadgets for longer diving and easier hunting.

The game offers Beautiful scenery, and detailed models of fishes and other sea creatures and excellent atmosphere of depths.

Score Rating: 8.5/10
Recommend-ability: Depends; If you love exploring Seas and Oceans, or just want a game for fresh "air" or a relaxing time. get it!

Don't mind my recorded time. i Played and beat the GOG version of the game.
Simply putting, if you are fan of Bioshock games, you will feel right at home.

System Shock 2 is survival horror set in spaceship filled with zombie-like monsters and other aliens.
The game had quite a good atmosphere to it and sometimes can be challenging and tough,
with weapons break often, ammo is rare and and you have to use heal items a lot, and they don't heal you instantly.

like Bioshock, you have your Bio-weapons for magic attacks, you can hack systems and turrets to your advantage and develop special ammo for your weapons and upgrade your characters (Toughness, Hack ability, stamina,etc...)

If you are into survival horror FPS games and a fan of Bioshock i absolutely recommend you this game, and yes, it has an active modding community.

Just note: if you have a modern PC, this game might give you troubles. be sure to install community patches.

God of War with Devil May Cry settings, on PC. Get it.
