This game is one of the greatest of all time. I'm pretty confident in saying that. I might be pretty heavily biased, of course, but I truly believe that TF2's legacy is that of something above S tier. That being said, I can't recommend anybody getting into this game now. Valve pubs are unplayable due to bots. Community servers are a mixed bag, but most of them have so much bloat installed with them that the FPS drops make them unplayable. The competitive scene exists, and that's really all I can say about that - there are some incredibly toxic people playing in leagues these days. I keep playing this game because I've probably got Stockholm syndrome at this point and it's all I know, but I can't -- in good faith, at least -- recommend new players picking it up. It's a damn tragedy.
