This game WAS about surviving in a zombie filled world. Until the developers turned into money greedy ♥♥♥♥♥ and decided to abandon the survival part of this game and focused on only improving the Battle Royale modes. ( Purely Player versus Player. No zombies, no wild bears that runs you down. nothing. ) and the Survival servers are left to rot away... hoping that one day, the developers will finally take care of them.

TL:DR version : GAME SUCKS NOW.

This game WAS fun for awhile. When they actively banned hackers and actually did something good to the game. But now, it's just a pile of crap sitting in my game library. STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. I REPEAT, DO NOT, BUY THIS GAME. If you want a more enjoyable game, get H1Z1 instead. Not DayZ. People who actually reads news about MMO zombie survival games will know that DayZ Early Access stage has a longer lifespan than a nokia 3310.
