they really did it they made a good roguelike out of fire emblem this is exactly what i've been looking for

gorgeous game with a powerful message about finding purpose and knowing yourself

the game will slow down over time performance-wise even on a powerful computer, so I would recommend playing on the lowest graphics settings just to mitigate that somewhat. it's still very pretty at the lowest settings. when the performance does get unbearable (such as when you try to fish but it's just not willing to cooperate), simply save, exit to title, and re-enter the game

cons: absolutely terrible main character, would have preferred if he was just a silent protagonist

pros: the magic combination system is incredible, i had a build that spawned a ridiculous amount of entities to the point where i was lagging on the final boss of hard mode despite having damage numbers off, spell/summon transparency set to 0, and the process at high priority
