A short and so very sweet campaign with the best gameplay I've seen in a multiplayer shooter. 5/5 buy it so titanfall 3 comes out!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Its a fast-paced shooter in the vein of 90's shooters like Quake. Fast and extremely frantic gameplay coupled with an insane soundtrack that eggs you on.

Absolutely buy this if you liked Doom.

Probably the smoothest gameplay I've seen in a third-person shooter. Amazing flexibility and replayability with some great cinematics. Shame that the story is pretty much incomplete.

Jump scares are like adding a bunch of artificial sweeteners to food. It adds flavor much like a quick flash makes your heart race, but it is used to hide poor quality. SOMA, and all of what Fractional Games is known for, doesn't resort to that. Hints are dropped about every monster before you meet them, making each encounter that much more thrilling.

But the horror is only part of the game. The rest of the game is a deep philosophical exploration that... well, if you don't like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ yourself out of terror then download the 'safe mode' mod, you baby. Enjoy the ride!

I have... too many hours on this game to be proud of. The game is primarily PvE, and the developers regularly showhow much they love their community. This creates a fanbase that is very supportive and one of the least toxic out there. Others have talked about the gameplay and movement, so let me talk about the developers.

The one thing that stands out to me are the developers, Digital Extremes. They care about the community in a way that no one else does. For starters, you can trade for premium currency. Not only can you go through the entire game without spending anything, you can get normally premium cosmetics by grinding for important parts and trading them to other players. Seriously, this is an amazing system. Add that with frequent giveaways and commuinity interaction via. frequent streams, and its obvious why people love playing this game.

You play Geralt of Rivia, the second-edgiest character alive next to Coldsteel The Hedgehog.

Just kidding, The Wither 3 is an outstanding game that incorporates excellent world-building with great story-telling. All of the characters are fleshed out and have their own backstories that go far beyond the scope of this game but stay relevant to the current plot without requiring someone to look through a wiki to understand who the Butcher of Blaviken is. The movement could certainly use some refinement and the menu is painful to navigate because someone at CDPR thought that having to mouse over something to know what it is, rather than having a description always next to it, is a great idea.

Also CDPR is an amazing studio, buy the game just to support them because they do DLC right.
