Never getting these hours back in my life.

Honest review... some characters are broken atm but overall a great game with loads of potential. It is NEEDED that there are more gamemodes, maps, ranked mode, heroes. Given a couple years of development, I think this game can be one of the heavyweights in the MOBA category.

ROCKET LEAGUE

In this review I will talk about the popular game that is Rocket League. After making its initial release on Windows and PS4, it has gained a lot of supporters and has reached on to Xbox, in the near future they will also be making a release for OS X and Linux. It is similar to Psyonix's last game which was called 'Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars' but it was not as up to scratch as what Rocket League is today.

GAMEPLAY
It is a typical football game, just with cars. If you love football, you will love this game. The combinations you do in real life football gets carried over in Rocket League; the freestyles, dribbling and shots can all be creatively completed and you get a sense of accomplishment when done with style. There is a training and tutorial section in which you can improve and get to learn the basics. Once you have got control of the basics perhaps enter a couple of exhibition matches where you can get to grips with AI which take on some of the characteristics of real people. They are still no where near as good as proper people but like I said before you can get a grip of what multiplayer will be like. Then after you feel comfortable you can enter multiplayer games. Every 10 levels, you get a new rank such as 'PRO' and 'VETERAN'. This is just your rank and doesn't affect anything apart from unlockables. You earn unique unlockables randomly which you equip to your personalised car to make it look cool. Personally, I think that multiplayer is so much better than the other game modes such as exhibition and season - an AI Rocket League season where you face teams and play against them to see if your team can be victorious at the end of a certain period of games. I only recommend this if you are a low level and are wanting to improve. Once you have gone pass this stage I would recommend doing the practices under the training tab. Anyway, the gameplay itself is fantastic and you can really relate to real life styles of play (Goalie, Defender, Playmaker etc..)

GRAPHICS
Graphics is very quaint, fancy. The art style is good and has vibrant colours. There is nothing really to say about graphics. It's good but could be better I guess. Don't judge a game for its graphics. c:

Runs perfectly fine. I have a GTX 970 and as you would expect, runs at 60fps at highest settings.

REPLAYABILITY
The game for me, only gets boring when playing for a long time in a day. I can play it daily for an hour or two and I will not get bored. This could be because I play with friends - everything is better with friends. I can't play Rocket League on my own, I prefer it with friends because you can use communication skills to set up awesome goals. The feeling of scoring a great team goal gets you pumped and makes you hungry for more. I don't find this game boring with friends, on my own I do get bored though.

OVERALL
The game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic. If you love the football genre, you will love this game which is simply for the fact that you can relate and score awesome goals. Playing with your friends is more fun as it is simply not a single player game in my opinion. The single player features are poor and is only used for practising and/or newbies. The makers, Psyonix have announced that they will be adding a basketball mode which will include two huge hoops that you can score in. This will add more ways to score fantastic goals and will also add more ways to make new combinations which will satisfy your Rocket League experience even more! I think what Psyonix are doing is a good thing and are definitley taking the game in a positive direction and I can't wait to see what the future holds for Rocket League. If I thought the game was bad, I wouldn't write this review. Buy it if you like football/soccer, you won't regret it. Don't forget to practice, you won't start off good, trust me.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is good as a simulator genre game. I'm not really into driving/racing games but this is fantastic. The feeling of driving around Europe just feels great. Most people aspire to go travelling, I know this is far from reality but you still get a feeling like that. It's awesome.

GAMEPLAY
Gameplay overall is good, travelling across Europe and delivering cargos is fun, but that's not the heart source for the fun. The fun comes in when you're driving normally. Remember the times when you would try to drive in GTA, normally? Like you would do in real life? Well, that's what this game is about. There is even a section in-game where you can add your own music (on the radio) and play it whilst driving. That's not a big part of the game though, I don't use it. The trucks feel like trucks - you can definitley feel the weight being dragged on your back whilst driving past the 30 St Mary Axe also known as the Gherkin in London. There is a wide range of trucks to drive and after saving money by completing quick jobs you can eventually buy your own and drive freely. There is one bug which is constant throughout the game, unfortunately the only way to fix it is by going directly into the game files and changing a couple settings. The bug is when there are no jobs to do. Of course there are but they are not showing up therefore you can't do anything. Like I said, the gameplay is great, but that bug is annoying and we should not be fixing it ourselves.

GRAPHICS
The graphics are poor. No matter what setting you have them on, they are poor, it does not mean this is a bad game and you shouldn't get it. Look at Club Penguin. That's not even 3D yet but Club Penguin is fantastic! There is nothing more to say really, The textures for grass isn't 2D, that says enough.

MULTIPLAYER
The multiplayer function is a mod which you have to download from a certain website. With roughly 2000 players on each server, this is the best part about the game. I only play multiplayer because you can have a convoy with your friends and deliver your cargos together while passing the odd driver on his side in the middle of the road pleading for help. The admins run each server well and help keep it clean. There are rules though which you have to abide and if you break them you will get banned temporarily. In multiplayer, everything is the same, just without AI drivers around you. There are real people beside you and to be frankly honest, some of them are wankers, not to worry though, press tab, click on the person that is bothering you and report them, they will soon be off your tail.

OPTIMIZATION
The game runs perfectly fine. I have a GTX970 and everything runs fine, with no mind-blowing graphics, nothing should make you drop frames. The only time I drop frames is when there is around 30 to 40 people in one city on Multiplayer, which might be a problem if you are in the same town and the same server with well known streamers such as Squirrel, famously known for playing Simulator games.

OVERALL
Overall, game is brilliant, it is worth the buy but not the 97% reviews. The only reason why I don't think it is worth the 97% is because of that bug that we have to fix ourselves. SCS should've fixed that a long time ago. I'm excited to play American Truck Simulator but I'm waiting for the Multiplayer Mod. The graphics are poor but if you judge the entirety of a games fun down to graphics then you are deluded (ง ͠° ͟ل͜ ͡°)ง and the optimization is fine. If you are looking to buy this game, just keep an open mind as even I, the reviewer was not into driving games, but this takes it to another level for me.

Great game. Battle Royale with friends is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aweosme. Definitley recommend to anyone that loves a survival/ Last Man Standing type of game. GG

how about you work on optimising the game, stop adding DLC when the base game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and actually try and make something out of game that once had so much promise and hope you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ morons? also why are you asking for £50 of my money? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ devs went to console and now they think their game is worth 50 quid. lads, it is NOT worth 50 quideronis, it's worth 10 quid if you have a £1000 PC to be able to run it smoothly. have fun trying to play a game that the devs dont care about x
