Choosing between this and FH5, bear in mind that Horizon 5 somehow communicates the car's limits better. The rest narrows down to personal preference between the setting. Otherwise, the two are as similar as can be, even content-wise.

Stutters.
In Dirt Rally, BOTH the 2015 and 2019 game, I've had much better graphics and overall performance, because the games were running on EGO engine, tailored by Codemasters specially for these rally games.
Also, the handling feels weird (as in imitation rather than simulation, if that makes sense), after hundreds of hours in RBR and DR.
Back to Dirt Rally I go.

Good and picturesque game design. Saving it for later occasion of inhaling smoke.

After 8 years since game release, I've discovered it's actually playable with a controler if you set the input linearity to 0.

As an NFS title, it exceeded my expectations. The handling is actually good, gives you that Prostreet-like pronounced feeling of car's weight and aerodynamics. Drift-to-turn mechanic is present, but is optional, unlike previous games - depending on car setup. All the sharp edges aside, the game definitely has more soul put into it that Unbound. Cop chases at night unlike the classic titles of the franchise have turned a survival horror, but a very rewarding one. I wasn't hyped for this one at all, but am glad having given it a try. Also, good mod support - definitely replayable with the UNITE mod.

More than worthy successor to the original title. Breathtaking level design, satisfying flow (movement and combat-wise), beginner-friendly, well optimized, sound design will not disappoint either. One of the first-person adventure games ever.

Also, Faith's cheeks.

Without a second thought, this one takes the crown among all the Dirt series titles by Codemasters. Unlike the 2015 game, this one is totally playable with a controller. Can't help but note good optimization. The bar in audio has been significantly raised since last pure-arcade titles - pure eargasm. After the launch of EA WRC, this one will still age well.
