btw: after buying here on steam you can play the game in every other way humanly thinkable way: your browser, your phone as an app (dev even answered me in under 5min when i thought something was buggy for me on my old iPhone but nope i was just dumb :D)

also note: i have waaaaaay more time played ty to the fact i can just play it on my phone & my webbrowser

and modding was literally the easiest way i have ever experienced modding (no need to download anything, or start the game always though a launcher, its all impletented in the acutal game, you even have a mod manager IN THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME LOL

actually can't believe my luck of finding this gem published by the runescape guys,
cause 0 in app purchases would have been allready good, but OMG there is so much stuff to do, and i havent even touched any of the 3 dlcs yet (yes they are 10 bucks each, but no they don't give you any ingame bonus you can't get otherwise, it's just more content aka skills to level and ways to make money)

also the much concerned feedback about the township: i actually liked it, yes it may have been more complecated in the past, which led to more satisfiction when mastering it, but now its much more easy to get into and build your town (im at 30% right now, so allready a steady income of 1,2mil/30min :D)

anyway! have a fun time!

works beautiful streamed to steamdeck

edit: updated 28.2 2:03am after a bug at the end of the game (we all died, was still stuck dead on the floor after the game allready ended and couldn't leave the game) streaming pc -> steamdeck doesn't work anymore

edit 2: tried validating game data & steam found: "2 files failed to validate and will be reacquired." didn't solve can't stream (stuck on infinite loading circle on steamdeck)

edit 3: tried 15sec power button forceshutdown on steamdeck, didn't work

edit 4: tried beta update on steamdeck, updated graphics driver on pc, still can't stream to the steamdeck

edit 5: tried moonlight, but then the game doesn't change the letters e for example to the A Button, also only 1 moondeck controller setup that let me run, but it was for beyond human so all other stuff is not bound.
dont get me wrong, i can still start the game on my pc & on pc it works, it's just the streaming to the steamdeck that just stopped working & yes im on stable channel on the steamdeck, i didn't have the "can't stream that game because of endless steam logo loading animation after starting the game" problem with any other game

edit 6: 29.2.24 8:15am ITS FIXED by valve themselves! bug was: "Remote Play Fixed infinite loading animation when streaming from another PC" (now i just need to wait for the februar patch to show up), and then i can finally play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome game with native 1080p streamed to my steamdeck! :D

- no native joystick support on steamdeck
- need to use trackpads for everything
- shop opens nativly with R2, which often bugs (R2 getting recognized twice, so shop open and closes without actually opening lmoa)
- top left text small

+ good graphics
+ CONSTANT 90hz
+ actually pausable bot games, so you have enough time to get familiar with the units in the shops (- cant pause while receiving item or special unit tho)
+ apart from top left bit everything is readible

conclusion for steamdeck:
if your comfy with trackpad (im not, so no recommendation from me) in (outside of bot matches) fast paced choosing, base of game is good (might get repetitive tho, since i heared valve doesn’t update rotating set of units?? haven’t played that much so, so can‘t judge that part)
