First time writing review for RPG games.

This game was widely advertised back in 2020 when I first started playing MHW Iceborne. The trailer actually hype me up with journey to the west story, cool combat scene with perfect dodging effect similar to Monster Hunter.

And guess what, today i finally got the chance to play this game as wukong/descendant and enjoy all the bosses fight that only can be visualised during my childhood time when watching Journey To The West with my late father.

Overall storyline is very interesting and timeline begin after journey to the west ended.

Currently 16 hours into the game, no bugs encountered so far, did face some invisible walls and stuttering issues but very minor. Very satisfied with the combat system and the graphic (playing at 1440p high setting with average 100fps). Reached chapter 3 now which I find is the most boring chapter, but still looking forward to the chapters behind.

Only cons here is without “map”, it actually cost me a lot of time to find hidden boss or hidden npc in order to clear all the bosses from chapter 1 and 2. Sometimes it’s very annoying when I keep roaming around the same area with no sense of direction.

Nonetheless, overall it’s a very fun and good game to play if you enjoy a lot of bosses fight. Definitely worth the money.
