Let me start by saying the game is fun overall and the animations clean.

I am a fairly competitive smash player (I participate in locals), so the biggest instant turnoff to me in this game is the current lack of Ranked mode. There's really no allure in playing quickplay against players with a wild range of skill levels.

The second thing is that WHY DID THE DEVS TAKE AWAY THE STAT SCREEN? I play doubles a lot in Smash and the score screen breakdown helps me understand if I'm executing my strategy correctly or not. I may not need to land kills, but I need to support damage and also monitor the amount of damage I am taking. Not having the score screen really hurts my ability to adapt and adjust my strategy between rounds.

I'll consider grinding the game a little more once Ranked and the stat screen are put back, but until then I'll probably stick with smash as my fighting game of choice.

This was one of my favorite games of all time, but the new maps are the absolute worst. WHY would you introduce the most bullsh*t mechanics onto the board (water splashing and teleporting areas) to the game? Literally the most un-fun experience I've had. Probably uninstalling this

Honestly one of the best games I've ever bought. Highly recommend this game - you can pick it back up at anytime you're bored of your other normal games and get a solid session in with friends. It's also got continual updates which is awesome, since not many games keep updating the way Gunfire does, especially free updates.
