Like a cyberpunk Doom or Hotline Miami. Tight controls, super fast-paced. Neat story, I like the subtle anti-communist rhetoric, and the game doesn't beat you over the head with it, don't see that much.
Loved it, now one of my favorite games in recent memory. 👍

Apex Legends is an above average BR made by an evil empire of money-hungry grabblers. The skins are mostly lazy reskins, the in-game currency is ridiculously overpriced, and the drop-rate for free apex packs is unforgiving, especially as you level up. Would be neat if the game gave you a pack for every level-up, similar to how Overwatch does it. (Overwatch also has pretty kickass skins for the most part (but still don't give Blizzard your money #FreeHongKong)).
Pretty alright game to play, it's free. Just don't give EA your money.

Mostly sick, the Marauder completely ruins this game for me though. Doom is about running and gunning and it completely kicks ass at this. Until a Marauder spawns. It slows the ♥♥♥♥♥♥' game to an absolute crawl as it's the only thing you can't just mindlessly outgun, dodge or overwhelm, as you can with literally everything in this game. It's like they took a Zelda boss and put him in Doom. Why should I have to wait for his stupid green flash. Waiting is literally the worst mechanic you could put in a fast-paced run and gunner. Once you get the Crucible, you can't even use it on them which would completely solve this issue for me because I'd simply save my Crucibles for Marauders so I'd never have to deal with them again. I've already been forced to fight them legit through the story anyway, so why can't I just use reap the benefits of getting the Crucible on an enemy I'd prefer not to fight anymore because it ruins the game's fighting pace? Idk man that's all from me.
Game otherwise amazing. Remove Marauder/Allow killing of Marauders with Crucible and game is instantly 11/10.
