The graphics are incredible, the characters are believable and have good voice actors, it's fun, AND there's even a free roam mode for when you just want to explore the city. The atmosphere/design is superb too!
Great game overall but buy it when there's a sale (I got it for £8) unless you have 35 quid to spare

Firstly, I was pretty damn disappointed that I had to make an EA account just to play the game (which took me two tries anyway because their servers were bad). I was forced to install an EA Games launcher or some BS, which took up lots of space on my disc.
Whenever you shift+tab back into the game from the Steam overlay, audio is delayed by about 10 seconds, which completely screwed up the introduction for me.
I was really annoyed that the game automatically turned on my webcam without my permission to take a picture for my driving license. I put my thumb over the camera, took the photo and thought it can't be that bad. After a few minutes of playing my webcam STILL hadn't turned off and I could only do it in Device Manager.
There are basically no camera controls whatsoever, it feels like a bad console port.
I had much more fun playing this on the Xbox 360 than on the PC. Sorry EA but this has to be a 2/10. Refunding now

Fun little mod but lack of story makes it kinda strange. One of the puzzles is so hard i had to propclimb outta there lol.
Good if you want some extra hl2 style gameplay!

Feels like half my shots are just not registered by the game. Could've been so much better but the whole idea of CS in singleplayer just doesn't really work. The bots have their own pros and cons, which is cool in theory, but they are almost always terrible.
And as for the deleted scenes, it's one of those typical "you're a heroic american shooting a bunch of arabs, all of whom are terrorists" kind of games.

Would not recommend.

Whether it be on Steam or my crappy old tablet with a pirate version of 2.0, I have enjoyed hundreds of hours playing this game.
After recently finding my old device and looking at forgotten levels from 7 years ago, I just realised how thankful I am for RobTop (and my cousin) for bringing this game into my life. I love this game.

Here's to nearly 10 years of GD, and to 2.2!
