Double Cubes - The name says it all - To solve most of the levels, you simply need two cubes. The hard part, especially on the latter half of the levels, is finding those pesky cubes.

Is it a complete game? No - people looking for more than what you see in the store video would be disappointed.

Does it have potential? Yes.

Why do I like it? I'm running this game off a GTX 970 SC and it's smooth. The sterile environments and mouse movements give me a nice Zen feeling as I move through the levels. For the $0.49 I picked it up for on sale, it was worth the 90 minutes of play time.

Controls: Move with WASD, no run modifier. Right Mouse Button brings up the cube editing mode, scroll wheel changes between add/remove cubes, Left Mouse Button performs the Add/Remove Action. That's it!

Pros:
+ Animations are smooth (Mouse movements, turns, Blocks being added / removed).
+ Sandbox is HUGE.
+ Has a unique artistic style that I can appreciate.
+ Ambient music is nice.
+ Restart a level at any time.
+ No need to save, the game tracks your level progress automatically.
+ When looking for the red blocks, they really stand out, even if they are far away. There's no worry that you are overlooking a block due to darkness / shadow issues. (Though some are cleverly hidden).

Mixed:
~ You can add / remove blocks from any distance. If you can see a surface, you can access it with the edit function. Not sure how I feel about this. The mechanic for far away block retrieval is used in the later levels, which makes it work well in those circumstances.

Cons:
- No real story - intro and final cut scenes are nice, but don't add much.
- Only 15 levels.
- The 'two block walk*' severely limits the game in terms of challenge. If the dev could figure out how to come up with another mode that limits the (repeated) use of blocks, it would make it much more of a puzzler.
- Nothing such as timer or info that lets you know what level you are currently on.
- No control descriptions other than 'tutorial' as you start.
- Sound effects / Music randomly don't play.
- Music was so low by default, I almost didn't realize there was any until I visited the options.
- You don't feel as the character really exists (no shadows are cast from you as you move around / you don't see any arms or legs where you'd expect them to be). - minor gripe!
- Level 12 has a cheezy 'grab blocks from a small area while jumping' scenario which could annoy people with coordination issues
- Level editor / Sandbox has no save / export / import functionality. Steam workshop + adding the editor could make this game something special with community levels.
- Can't free-roam the sandbox (you walk around and start at the bottom of the editor instead of being able to float around to place blocks).

So, yes, I'd reccomend this game for something to do while relaxing, even with the negatives. I hope there's more to come!

*Two Block Walk - Place 1st Block, jump on 1st block. Place 2nd Block, jump on 2nd block. Remove 1st Block. Rinse, repeat.
