Unrealistic and possibly unbalanced. No game is a perfect simulation of real life of course but there needs to be good amount of paralels to real worlds for it to be enjoyable, Could one of the belligerent of cold war invade Burma and India at the same time without taking any kind of relation penalty with other nations in the real world? And if you try to protest without plunging the world into a nuclear war, instead of being regarded as the champion of the opressed people you lose influence over half of the world because you backed down just before the nukes were launched. The reverse is the same, You can't even station troops in Warsaw pact countries without united states starting a nuclear war.



These mechanics could be balanced. I wouldn't know because it makes so little sense how they work it's like paddling against the current trying to learn them and it ruins my immersion. So I refuse to play it more.

Also the interface could use a lot of work. Buttons disapear and reappear to indicate you if you can or can not do an action. If you can't afford to do the space missions there isn't any gui at all when you click on your country. Why not just keep all buttons and show tooltips when hovered to indicate why you can't do them.

It pains me to thumbs down the first Godot engine game I see on steam. But the base work for the game is there I'm sure you polish it!

Once again it feels like zero playtesting went into the making of this DLC. New national focuses are basically landmines, one wrong move and you are locked out of half of it. Ah you became the communist states of America? Well ♥♥♥♥ you you are not allowed to do a branch of COMMUNIST AMERICA focuses

Enjoyable narrative experience. Like all successfull walking sims it has a good narrative and a good gimmick to keep you exploring. Also best piece of unintentonal anti big government/pro private industry propaganda I've seen.

This game is terribly bad. The UI is horrible, often times covering itself. The gameplay is exteremely repetetive. I like the concept at first glance but there is litteraly no imporvement over it the campaing, it's always the just pushing attack or defend. And the worst is getting the same monster 10 times in a row. On top of all that there is near to no options for sound or resolution. Even mobile games are more customizeable these days.

I really like this game. Writing, asthetics and most importantly the execution of all the mechanics is really good. Developers did a great job side stepping all the problems that other "Choices Matter" games have.

Only negative aspects would be the slightly cringy dialogue but which teenager isn't cringy (especially when everything they say is written by an adult.) and the main characters voice acting.

This game is not suitable for children and easily dismembered.

In the vein of Portal and Talos Princible The Turing Test has too many hiccups to be enjoyable. Altough it has some unique mechanics the abysmal writing, the story that does not pay off in either a traditional or experimental style, and the easy puzzles really breaks the game. Consider buying on the cheap.

This is a good game. I absolutely can't deal with horror games but am always curious so I made my friend play it at the start. It wasn't all that bad so I took the controls. There is little to none jumpscares but the game keeps you at the edge of your seat all the time.

The story is absolutely captivating. It is given to you piece by piece and by methaphors and imagery but doesn't get pretenious which is something I appreciate a lot. Beautifuly creepy visuals really brings together the atmoshpere, makes you scared and think about the adequately complex story.

It was a bit short but accordingly priced imho.


Republic of China, Real China.

Owlboy is a gorgeous game. The visuals, the music and the characters feel magical. I'm afraid that's about it. The developers failed to deliver with fun gameplay to support the world. Both the combat and the puzzles are underwhelming. The concept of carying around people with different abilities to do stuff could have been utilized so much better. Not really sure if it warrants a purchase/playtrough. Maybe. This will be a very close and sad thumbs down for me.

As of right now it has been around 24 hours since I bought this game and steam says I have "21.3 hrs on record" Definitely reccommended if you like management games.
