My Life is Strange: Before the Storm Remastered review was filled with cons, all the bugs and etc, which I have mentioned in the review.
This... is a bit better? Still no ultrawide, yada-yada, maybe less bugs here and there.
I love the entirety of the Life is Strange series, seriously. Amazing games that made me shed a tear a few times.
But.. still, I am not completely happy with how the remastered editions came out. Sure, graphics are much better, but bugs are still present. Had to restart from checkpoint here and there, even a glitch that was first noticed in the first edition of the game.
My favourite moment in the game is when a second Max appeared t-posing in the Dark Room while Jefferson was trying to dose me, and also when some dude during the storm just floated in the air with all of his bones broken. Truly brings back memories from my first playthrough.
I have ran into much less bugs than in LiS:BTS Remastered, but they are still, sadly, present.
Buy the original instead, if you don't have neither the first or the second edition. So, the only game out of the franchise that I played on PC was Life is Strange 2. All of the other games were completed on my PS4.

And here's my opinion on the remastered game (LIS:BTS):

One of the things stick out like a sore thumb to me. WHERE IS ULTRAWIDE SUPPORT????
IT'S BEEN MULTIPLE YEARS AND I HOPED I COULD FINALLY PLAY THE GAME IN MY RESOLUTION WITHOUT TWO GIGANTIC BLACK BARS, but no, alas I must enjoy the game like I'm watching a YouTube walkthrough. Great.

Bugs. God, there is a ton of bugs. The most remarkable bugs are the audio and subtitles. Sometimes one of the characters just open their mouth without making a single sound, so you have to rely on the subtitles to understand what they are saying. But here comes another problem. The subtitles stay on even after a few scenes. For example, this was the worst for me in Farewell, the DLC episode, where for about 5 minutes or so I had the same three words in the subtitles. That's it. And when you have characters opening their mouths without making a sound, and three words from 5 minutes ago as subtitles, you just can't make any sense out of what the actual ♥♥♥♥ the characters are trying to say, only context can save you, I guess.

That's it, folks.

Obviously, the main game itself is great, but if you are planning to buy LIS:BTS or LIS1, just buy the original versions.
I still have Life is Strange Remastered to complete, so I'll write a review on that when I finish the game. I really do hope that everything I listed above is just with THIS exact remake.
