WWI-WWII, Overhead combined arms combat. Superb. What I really like about this game is that it forces you to work together as a team to use true to life tactics. Has a historical feel even if it isn't historical per say. No BS: pay-to-win, DLC, subscriptions, loot boxes, skins, leader boards, kill scores, skill trees etc. You improve by exploring and learning how all the sub-systems of the game work. I haven't even touched the Naval or Logistics parts of the game yet. Highly recommended!

I love this game, it has humor, and horror. The chase scene music got my gamer-sense hyped, and the "rambley reveiew" song at the end was amazing and encouraging. 10 out of 10.

Cross between Deep Rock Galactic and Planetside 2 maybe a touch of HALO. Very good co-opt game that is best enjoyed with friends who have good comms. Devs were taken by surprise on popularity and server stability and availability is improving but not perfect. Game still has many undeveloped areas; weapons customization and vehicles being the two obvious missing features the devs intend to add. If the Devs can keep this fresh with new content while not falling into micro-transaction hell that will be the key to long term growth of this game.

I’ve played all the big open world, zombie survival games like DayZ (stand-alone and Mods), 7 days to die, Scum, etc. Deadpoly takes all the best elements of these games and distills them down into the early access, bare bones frame work for an awesome game with a clean low poly look similar to Unturned. This is the start of something great. I believe you will get around 6-8 hours of single player game time before accomplishing all content as of this date of this review. If there is one down side is that this is a single man dev team which could potentially slow down the addition of the new content everyone craves. A very solid start for a early access survival game.

My first concern was yet another Minecraft clone this time with a Viking/Norse theme. I was pleasantly surprised the game is very balanced and well thought out. A lot of the grinding has been eliminated.

Early development warts and all this is still the best zombie survival game on the market. I tired this game when it first was released to early access in 2018. The game has come a long way but also has a long way to go. The existing game is promising and I look forward to continued improvements and fixes.

A good early showing for a survival game. What will make or break this game is the ability of the Dev team to add in new features and keep hackers at bay. Deadside reminds me greatly of some of the DayZ mods most especially "DayZ Epoch" with bandit AI and safe zone NPC traders. I think everything on my wish list is "in the works": vehicles, new and different loot/gear, improved base building, a bigger map, new npc enemies, new buildings. I would like to see more realistic concealment like bushes, downed logs, heavy undergrowth. Wooded wild areas are still too much like manicured parks. If you like survival games you aren't going to find anything wildly new here. I think the strength that Deadside has is they are able to take what works from other games in the genre and put it into a smooth playing game built from the ground up. I applaud the elimination of DayZ's overly complex ammunition management system for example.

One of my favorite arcade, side scrolling, beat 'em ups. Best with 4 players. Shadow over Mystara is the better of the two titles and has a ton of depth, almost too much for the uninitated at first play.

Has all the trappings of a great old fashion turn based RPG! Based on one of my favorite properties Shadowrun where Tolkien meets cyberpunk. If you enjoy turn based combat like X-Com and Fallout 1&2 you will probably enjoy this game
