For the 10 bucks I payed to have 10 hours of fun is totally worth it now that's its on sale (at the time writing this review). As mentioned countless times in other reviews, when you've heard all dialogs numerous times, you know after a while what each option will produce. That means you won't get that feeling of excitement. I do believe this game handles the repetitive scenarios very well tho, with all the different things happening at once, at different locations you have to plan where to send your units.
The one major complaint I have is the constant shooting everywhere. You're bound to run into at least 1-2 "We need backup" incidents on every duty, I don't think there are THAT many armed criminals in any major developed town in the world.

Next is something that's just stupid. If you send police officers to check on a situation that involves fire of sorts, the officers will start smoke diving and trying to fight the fire! Thus getting injured. What they should do is establish ONLY what emergency services are required for a caller incident if someone is injured etc.

Elite is a very satisfying space sim. It combines strategy and combat in the most intuitive way. Probably one of the most satisfying things in Elite is the graphics. This game beats many space sims on the market today when it come to detail per map size. Even tho Elite's map has been for the most part randomly generated with planets, suns and celestial bodies it's really hard to notice. Everything feels hand made, especially the new planet details introduced in Elite: Horizons. Trading in Elite is.. good. You have to plan your trade routes dynamically taking distance, cargo and profit in to count. The prices change and fit according to the systems industrial specification. Sometimes pirates or players show up and want to lay hands on your goods. Now for the bad stuff. The biggest flaw Elite Dangerous has according to me are the missions received through the bulletin board. They lack personality and variation. It's either delivery, assassin or smuggle. That would however be fine if the missions had some depth to them. This might be fixed later on however with the new 2.4 patch

Overall it's a great game! The only thing this game really needs is more players! Once that is achieved this will become one of the best space sims of 2016. (I think Frontier should put some $$$ in advertisement and show the world they exist)

Me personally nominating The Stanley Parable for this award is a no-brainer. All easter eggs and alternative endings all with their complete storytelling experience gives The Stanley Parable a strong a strong first place.

So let's start by coming to an agreement this is so much more than what it seems.
The Stanley Parable is marketed as a game but this work of art is something beyond anything any casual game could deliver, both in terms of story engagement and character.

The Stanley Parabale is an interactive movie with a very well planned and layed out story. Playing this game feels emersive and makes you smile and grine when you get response from the narrator voice depending of your actions and decisions within the game.

Pros:

• #1 Creativity in any 20th centry game
  
• Easter eggs, Easter eggs, Easter eggs
  
• Great story with many alternative endings
  
• Replay value to uncover secrets and alternative endings

Cons:

• Good luck finding one

This game is a true work of art! No question about it. I enjoyed every single moment of it! in fact, it's the first game I've ever played which I have No negative feedback to present. I recommend this game to everyone!

Pros:

• Nice 2D graphics
  
• Lots of weapons/drones and systems to upgrade and purchase
  
• Lots of choises that leads to different outcomes
  
• 10 ships each with 3-2 different layouts and design. (28 different unlockables to be exact)
  
• Lots and lots of random events

Cons:

• Acquiring some layouts/achivements can be very difficult and you find yourself resetting if the random map layout doesn't fit with your needs

Fun GTA Online alternative!
Huge downside is the bugs. Riding alongside a player often appears glitching back and forth. Not even mentioning colliding.

Pros:

• Fun with friends (Funnier with lots of friends)
  
• Most servers (including the official) features an easy-to-use spawn menu
  
• Same JC2 feel with explosions and chaos
  
• Changeable outfits
  
• Fast warp (most servers)

Cons:

• Buggy, extremely buggy
  
• No NPC's (Understand it would take ]forever to code. Just pointing it out)
  
• Echonomy (most servers)

Wow, this game sucks.

• Somewhat satisfying 2D:ish look to it

• The game is way too difficult to play without a controller
  
• Your typical die, redo combat game
  
• No open-word (Would be awesome)

• Confusing combat moves

Edit:
I decided to give this game another shot, this time with a controller. Certainly the game becomes much much easier to control. However, It's still too repetitive. The game lacks emersion and that feeling that makes you want to keep going. You fight your group of chi-bockers. Jump on some platforms to fight the next group of chi-bockers. Occasionally there are boss battles tho, and two words about that. Way overpowered! It takes a few deaths until you figure out you're suposed to use this attack, or that ability. It wasn't until I connected my controller the on screen tip on how to use new abilities appeared, and that is
just really depressing.

The games free roam mode sure has some glance to it. In my opinion the developer(s) should put their minds only to the open world game since the missions are hard and quite boring. I also think in Free-Roam, pressing R should also repair your veachle. I won't recommend this game since it gets boring pretty fast. You only have 2 standard cars if you just want to fool around in Free-Roam.
