This game is full of soul. From the hilarious dialogue, to the quirky and colorful cast, to the unique and highly customizable battle system, to the catchy music, and to the violent door kicking, I've spent every second of this game smiling. I've waited for this game for over five years and it was worth every minute. At the time of this writing I only have three hours clocked, but it's already my 2023 game of the year.
Also, Bass Pro Shops is a dungeon.

Imagine the wildest crossover you can possible imagine, multiply that by ten, and you have this game.

-Barely any plot
-Most character stories are filler
-Music style clashes with the rest of the game for the most part
-Generic indie pixel sprites that also clash a bit
-Cat girl has the WORST shot type I've ever seen in a bullet hell shooter
-Awkward bomb system
-Screen shaking and the dark clouds on stage 4 threw me off a lot (+can turn off shaking -but not the darkness)



In the end you're better off playing Touhou. Not to say this game is bad though, it certainly isn't and is worth playing.

HOLY ♥♥♥♥ THIS GAME IS SO DAMN WEIRD LIKE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THERE'S A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PICKLE CHECKPOINT AND THERE'S SENTIENT HILLS LIKE IN SUPER MARIO WORLD AND IT'S ALL LIKE 1950S ALL UP IN THIS ♥♥♥♥ AND HOLY WOW THE CUTSCENES ARE INTENSE AND THE PLOT IS SO DEEP LIKE HOT ♥♥♥♥ I'M ONLY ON WORLD 2 AND THIS GAME IS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BRILLIANT
