Fun little game. Beat it under 2 hrs so I had to fight the urge to refund. 😂

Constant Crashes. Literally unplayable.
Tried everything that I could find on Youtube yet nothing worked.

FYI I crashed over 13 times during the intro, and now I'm stuck at the first mission, cuz every time I tried to proceed the campaign It was an instant crash for me.

I never expected that there would be a sequel after 9 long years. Thank you for the 20 hrs of sheer joy.

If there's one thing I don't feel satisfied about this game, it's the level design. Frankly, I don't feel the puzzles are challenging enough. It's rarely to see any puzzles require you to build functioning structures using basic elements like what we had in Talos 1.

I still remember how I got stuck for hours when I was playing Road To Gehenna. Some puzzles even required you to setup two cubes to collide in middle of the air with perfect timing. It's mind blowing. Sadly it's a step back for Talos 2 cus such outside-the-box designs are rarely found in the new game.

That said, it's still a competent sequel. Will be looking forward to its first DLC.

Even it meant to be a solo mission you still gotta wait 5 minutes for "matchmaking". Holy crap it's exactly as stupid as it sounds. I'd rather this game use denuvo than this always online ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Also the launch is an absolute disaster. Literally the worst I've ever seen in years.

Listen, I have 2k hours in Payday2. If addicts like me are not simping this sequel, trust me, it has some serious problems.

Remember those fake mobile game commercials which determine your IQ based on how you connect dots without crossing the lines?

Well, this is the real thing.

It could be biased since I only have 4 hrs play time as I'm writing this review.

Combat doesn't seem to be very challenging even under the highest difficulty. Most of the the artificial difficulty comes from lack of healing in spells. First off, you can only recover your HP/armor at campfires or shrines, and if your heroes were wounded after a quest, they'll stay wounded unless you send them to the hospice and skip the next quest, it's almost devastating during early game since you wont have enough heroes to embark on the following quest. In other words, you gotta keep the hp level of all your heroes at a relatively high level throughout your gameplay. Essentially it'd become your #1 priority task. So, instead of focusing on your current fight, you gotta always play around taking as little damage as possible in every fight, just to make sure you don't get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the long run. This ♥♥♥♥ is not fun at all.

I had like 50 or 60 hrs in Darkest Dungeon yet I do feel even the game was designed for the most brutal challenges had more sustainability than this.

Game got some potential, I guess. But the current design is just annoying.

TL;DR: Combat is not very challenging. The difficulty comes from lack of healing. If you're wounded after a quest you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Essentially it alters your gameplay to a damage taken management.

Not the first time I witnessed how game devs chucked their own piece of work into the abyss with great passion.

The game is a giant slot machine know. The vision prevails. I quit.

Tons of promised content are still missing after a year, and your 60Gb mega patch turns out to be only some basic bug fixes and minor AI improvements. I don't know if that's technically required, or you're simply trying to pretend you've made some HUGE progress in the past year by making the patch so big.

Not every game can make a big comeback like No Man's Sky did. Silly me for giving a lying company "a second chance". Should have given out my thumb down at game release and refunded while I still could.
