Look, this game isn't Warband. It can't replace Warband. It has a number of issues to be kinked out and so did Warband.

This game is not what I would call an introduction into Mount & Blade. This game is not Warband.

All that being said, all the criticism on this game is really bleak for what you get. Insane single player hour potential; I must have thousands of hours in this game despite my playtime. This game will challenge you and your creativity. This is not a game you need a guide for aside from some pesky bugs. You just experiment and find out and have fun. What kind of army would you build to conquer the ages of antiquity? This game will give that to you and allow you to do so in an engaging, relaxing, intense, teeth gritting game play scenario. Some situations are resolved in minutes by calm, stable planning. Sometimes, you think you're getting into the same situation again and then get humbled. This is not Warband. You will be assaulted by Lords you have never heard of 100 hours into the campaign and get destroyed. It happens.

All that being said, this is an excellent successor to Warband. The modding community is hot on the trail, there is already Bannerlord CRPG, there is already Bannerlord Online, there are numerous ways to expand the already hundreds of hours of playtime into thousands. The way you view the last game is fine. This game is not Warband.

It's alright. It's certainly not like the original DOOM games. If you're expecting anything close to DOOM 2016/Eternal though prepare to be disappointed. Pretty bare bones as a shooter and a story game. You might like this if you enjoyed Half-Life just for the atmosphere and guns. As many people have added, this version of the game is also easier in difficulty than the original DOOM 3. I breezed through a first play through on "Normal" with stacked ammo and armor. It's a shooter without particularly enjoyable ways to use your weapons; a story game that focuses on making you listen to tape decks for most exposition, and a DOOM game without arena/high speed movement.

I give a thumbs up since I bought it for $5 and I was interested enough to at least finish the base game of DOOM 3.

This game really makes the source engine pop with color and maintains that classic shooter feel. Some segments feel a bit rough in translation over to the newer engine, but for the most part this is an awesome package. They really chose to play on their strengths when redesigning the way Half-Life is portrayed and I think that got them a home run here.

I will say, combat feels a little odd - perhaps a little easy and somewhat repetitive. Not going to lie, if you just want OG Half-Life run n' gun action, just play Half-Life. This game is cool but not in identical spirit. I can't blame them for this either. If the AI on some of the aliens were any better, it would just be unfair and untrue to the original. And honestly the HECU Marines seem pretty spot on. It's the Source engine, I'll take what I can get.

Enemies seem a little out of place with their Source engine style ragdoll deaths. Most if not all enemies killed with explosives and shotgun blasts still explode into a bloody mist which kind of makes up for that.

Level design is pretty freakin' fantastic. Their dedication to getting the environment perfect and interactable easily saves this from being a soulless remaster with updated models. Not only did they make some nifty changes to the first half of the game, but they essentially remolded the Xen portion into an epic journey that makes the original look silly.

I got this gem half off, but I would easily go back and pay full price. All half life fans should give this a try.

A weird combination of baby's first RPG and a low budget direct to Sci-Fi Channel action movie. The game exceeds at certain points mechanically and creatively and clearly has a great coat of polish. The game looks beautiful. I feel, however, that they overreached way too far by making this an RPG style game and that the mechanics and story would have benefited greatly from a more linear format. The game overall just lacks cohesiveness in a way I can barely describe.

You know when you were a kid and went to McDonald's and filled your soda cup with a little bit of everything at the fountain to see what it tasted like? It feels a bit like that. There's a lot of sweet to everything but nothing seems to belong here. By the third sip, I'm really regretting I didn't just fill my cup with Coke, Sprite, or even just some water would be good.

Cyberpunk feels exactly like that but a video game. It's a roleplaying game with no roleplaying, a story game with an open world, and an fps with no tempo. I'm sure some people will love it, but it does not suit me.

More demons, more slaying, more sprinting and tearing at the speed of sound.

Buy it and your testosterone level will raise over 9000 percent.

A great deal when I got it for five bucks.

Valve definitely knew what they were going for here and it shows. This is a decent controller you can use to play most games that would be traditionally keyboard and mouse only.

That being said, this isn't as precise as a joystick in my opinion and isn't my first choice as a controller for online shooters. This does have a gyroscope feature that works with many games that enhances aiming significantly and makes it kinda fun, too. But the trackpad alone is simply terrible for precision gaming.

If it had a joystick or a way to install a joystick separately for preference then this would be a 10/10 amazing product. Since that is not the case I will not be using this for quite a few games but I still like the product and it deserves its full price tag.

I don't care what other people say, this is the most fun I've had in an action style Resident Evil game. Controls for PC are actually alright, although I would change one keybind which is the partner interact key to Q or E so that the quick time events line up with your fingers.
10/10 would resident evil in Africa again

The starting Snackerov© handgun is viable to kill any enemy in the game on the hardest difficulty. If you think otherwise you aren't cheeki breeki.

10/10 would trudge through tunnels full of brain melting mutants again

Excellent game, very fun for any skill level. Basically you just spawn and kill your enemies with a slew of medieval weaponry. 10/10 would run around naked with a sledgehammer again
