I left a negative review since there were no achievements but they have recently added them.

Victoria 3 is a rough gem. Guide your nation through the turbulent times of the industrial revolution in a rapidly changing world. Paradox has made an excellent effort creating a unique identity fitting to the franchise.

In an extraordinary portrayal of the Victorian era you are provided the freedom to shape your government and plan your economy as you see fit, but beware your population may not share your views. Whether you strive for a traditional monarchy with an agricultural society, a progressive industrialized republic or something in between, the possibilities are there.

Multiplayer is where Victoria 3 transcends, taking part in geopolitics is a sensational experience.

The game is not perfect however, it suffers from issues such as;
Most nations feel generic due to lack of journal entries and historical railroading.
You will have to take your time to learn and explore, there are many mechanics that are not explained.
Paradox has announced in a post-release development dairy they are working on above issues.

All in all, Victoria 3 is a solid game with a bright future.

Leviathan is an utter disgrace. The state in which this DLC got released is unacceptable.
The amount of bugs and broken mechanics is ridicilious. Did it go unnoticed or did no one care?
The game is literally unplayable after you have quit out of the game, your savefile will be corrupted.
I was looking forwards to parts of this update but it has only been a let down.
Paradox should be ashamed. They are ruining the game.

Europa Universalis IV is a masterpiece. This is a must have for anyone that likes real time strategy, this is the best of its genre. This game offers complete immersion into a historic world set in the late middle ages where you lead your country through time.

As ruler of a prosperoues nation you will have a lot to worry about. You must develop your land, build a trade network, manage your economy and loans. You will have to protect yourself, raise and maintain an army and navy. Dont forget politics. You have to keep your estates happy, maintain stability and legitimacy, keep up with technology and diplomatic affairs. Explorers tell you of lands beyond the ocean rich with gold, your rivals cant get their hands on it!

If you love history this game will be a treasure for you. The soundtrack is amazing - great immersion.

Detailed world, full of locations, secrets and treasures to be discovered. Beautiful islands, a tropical continent where you can roam around for hours. Great story, great gameplay.
