If you go in to this game running around like rambo and expect to win by out-twitch-aiming the competition you're probably going to have a bad time.

This is a game about positioning. If you can find the right spots you can dominate. So it takes a while to learn the maps and know where to go.

Also you need to know your role, and help your team.

For those reasons it really matters what server you play on and who you play with. If you can find a good server that has a lot of regulars who know the game then you'll have a great time. When everyone's running around like headless chickens not playing as a team, it's not going to go so well.

Put in to pros and cons:

Pros - very fast time to kill. I hate spongey shooters so this suits me well.
- Great team dynamics. Your role matters and the game encourages teamwork.
- Great sound. Ambience is good. The guns sound great (apart from one I dont like so much - the DP-28. sounds like a sewing machine)
- Dynamic maps. Most of the time you're not spending the whole match fighting in one area, but the combat area changes and moves. Kind of looked over point, but it makes for fun matches.

Cons - Can be glitchy and buggy. The devs are constantly updating and generally it's for the better but you do encounter bugs.
- Steep learning curve can put people off in their first few games.
- The menu UI is not great. Even their earlier games RO2 and RS1 had crap menu UI. So I don't see them fixing it but it's not the easiest to navigate.
- Who you play with matters. If you end up on servers where regulars team stack against newbies it can be pretty bad.

If you're looking for a fast shooter like battlefield - this is not it.

I'd say this game sits somewhere between battlefield and arma III, in terms of speed.
If you like insugency or red orchestra you'll like this.

When you get a communicative team and not too many ppl lone wolfing this game really shines. Feels so awesome to be part of a group moving on an objective together.

I've had a great time so far and definitely will keep playing, well worth the price!

I am not a warhammer fantasy player and don't really know the lore, nor do I really care too much. I saw some not so good reviews that were complaining about this or that unit or faction not being included but I have no problem with the faction diversity as it is.

The game is a ton of fun, the animations and the visuals are stunning. Watching your units plough in to the enemy lines and start making a total mess is awesome.

Campaign is fun, I've played through it a bunch with each of the factions. It's a great way to get to know the factions and units and what they are all about.

Magic is a really interesting mechanic and strikes a good balance between not-effective and too-effective.

There is a ton of mod content and the game is new so I have no doubt we'll see a lot of great things down the line.

At first I was mad about the blood dlc, I kind of thought that was bs but the other dls so far like beastment and grim and the grave has been good and well worth it.

There are still some balance issues to be worked out but I think over time they'll sort it out.

Campaign AI is a little annoying, I do wish that was better. Diplomacy options are also lacking.

Load times can be an issue.

It is seriously gorgeous though.

Possibly the greatest pc experience I've ever had.
It reminds me of the imagination play of lego but being able to see the results. Put stuff together, feel like a genius when you get it to space.

I has a massive mod community which adds tons of extra gameplay as well.

There's not much else to add. It's awesome.
