1. Garbage character balance
2. Toxic Community
3. Game is fun, tons of characters to try out
4. Long queue times (5-6 Minutes)
5. Character Unlocks

1. characters are not balanced to be against each other and since you go in blind as to what your opponents play, you often find yourself unable to compete, or you completely roll over the enemy team. Skill is very subjective as each character either stomps the others or gets stomped by others.

2. If you are not as good as someone else they make sure you know about it, out of all the matches I have played recently there has not been a single game that someone isn't talking about why someone is a terrible player, calling them a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ or a ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

3. Game does have a lot of fun dynamics, the many different "awesomenauts" allow for a lot of varied playstyles and replayability, the graphics are ok, the art style is very nice and the soundtracks are great.

4. Queue times are absolutely outrageous, you hop into the game and are looking to play against some players, that will take about 5-7 minutes most of the time and if you are on during prime gamer time then you are looking at about 2-3 minutes. After waiting that long for a game you will often get steamrolled if you pick the "wrong" character and the game will feel very unsatisfying.

5. Characters in this game have to be unlocked, while there are free "awesomenauts" on rotation every now and then but you still have to purchase a variety of the characters yourselfif you want to play a character you want. You unlock these characters using their in-game currency system or spending real world money to unlock characters. You can tryout characters before you purchase them which is a level of safety net before you waste however much time it took to grind the in-game currency either through leveling or their 3 daily quests.

I bought this game 5-6 years ago and I played enough to unlock all of the characters and level them up, coming back now, I have absolutely no level process, I still have the characters I had but with how many other newer characters the old characters don't seem to add up when you face against the new characters.

For a free to play game it isn't terrible, I think it is a large waste of time as their is no real skill involved when it comes to getting out classed by the newer heroes that deal far more damage and movement abilities. Would not recommend wasting time with this title.

Cultist Simulator: A Review

What I liked
- The Stories and ideas in the game.
- The design of the UI and the different card tiles/blocks.
- The effort put into the game to be about learning the game so you can master the game.
- The game kept me drawed in with its constant trial and error to achieve further.
- The game holds interest to me because I love the style of writing the devs put in and the 3 dedications and temptations there are.

What I am nit-picky about
- I find that many of the various options and choices in the game are much more difficult to find than they should be.
- RNG does exist but holds a smaller presence in the early game, mid game RNG can be a bit repetitive and late game RNG can be very cruel if you need exactly one thing to proceed and require RNG for it.
- I find that some of the aspects are a bit confusing to someone who enters the game blindly, some cards go into the blocks without being able to do anything and just be gray.(Fleeting memory in Adventure block)
- I believe that more characters should exist beyond the 3 characters you can choose from besides the aspirant.
- I have purchased the Dancer DLC and haven't seen too much about it in the game through my exploration and I don't know the entire odds and ends with it and how to start accessing this content.(The DLC doesn't add too much to the base game.)

What I don't like
- I achieved one ending recently and went to try and get another, the other ending requires far more effort and doesn't really have too much benefit for its additional difficulty.
- I believe that there should be more Temptations and Dedications that can range with each individual cult.( Power, Enlightenment and Sensation shouldn't be the only 3 that can pair with an individual lore cult)
- I believe the the RNG late game along with the trial and error can be very tedious and almost grindy.
- I don't like some of the systems with mystique and notoriety, (Painting gives you mystique which makes the police look into you further but on the same end it's used to gain more funds from your painting, I believe they should be seperate.)
- The price tag is a bit spendy in my opinion for what you are getting, I would value this game for about $10-15

In Conclusion
- I would highly suggest this game because it really has some interesting ideas and content I never seemed to find with other games.
- I can suggest looking into the gameplay more before purchasing but definitely don't spoil the lore and stories in the game.
-Maybe wait for a sale, I found the extra $5 worth it in my opinion but that's because I really enjoy the story and ideas in the game.

Possible Errors
- I haven't been following the devs about what they plan to implement besides the Dancer DLC, so I can't review their care for the game or what they plan on fixing(Very few bugs I've found)
- I have a personal opinion and by all means this game is something that is unique to each person, I definitely suggest trying it.
- I could be entirely wrong about the Dancer DLC, but I haven't encountered anything that really changes the game or allow me to access the content it provides besides the small differences in some explorations and aspects.

Otherwise a pretty alright game -old af

Early Access Review
Over the time I have played, I would highly suggest getting this game. The combat is similar to arma but fresh in its own way. The modes you can play are solo, duo and squad, solo as you might of guessed is just you versus everyone else, duo allows you and another teamate to face against other 2 person teams in the same way as solo, squad is 4 people in a team in the same manor of duo, I would suggest playing squad first to get your grips on the game and the mechanics and solo for training on how to survive and live longer. This game is extremely skill based, at a start you will probably get mowed down over and over and over again but you can always quit once you die and go to another server very quickly. This game does have a bit of a harsh learning curve in that, if you don't study the controls and mechanics you will die. I play on North American servers and I must say I get little to no lag when I play, I have noticed some minor dsync issues but nothing that is honestly terrible. This game is in "Early Access hell" and probably will be for quite awhile, but they are making very frequent content updates and bug fixes to help the game. I would suggest you wait for a sale to pick this game up, but the game is fairly well worth full price and is actually a very solid game compared to its other competetors.

If you have played any Far Cry game, this game is very similar but its much more "Diverse" than the others in that its based in 2007 with a 1980's art and style. The main character "Rex Power Colt" is voiced by the same person that did multiple 1980's films such as Aliens, Terminator and various other popular movies of that time. The quotes he says are the downright cheesiest quotes you will ever hear. The game has a ton of references to films or fads of the 1980's and the entire game was basically based of Terminator. The campaign is extremely short compared to other titles in the series and to unlock weapon attachments you must complete sidequests or collect collectables throughout the world. Overall I would say wait for this game on a sale, but the game is fun until you complete the campaign on hard mode 3 times using a knife and pistol.

I would suggest this game AFTER you play Hotline Miami 1, this game goes deep into the storyline of both of the games and truly a amazing expierence, the soundtrack is absolutely amazing. Game is kinda spendy I would suggest wait for a sale, but even then its almost worth every cent.

Fun storyline, Co-op is a bit buggy and there are many glitches in Co-op, Interesting concept of getting powers to fly and run like the flash or something. Cool gameplay and tons of weapons to kill aliens and stuff with.
