Where the ♥♥♥♥ is Co-op??? I thought this was supposed to be a Halo game?

I have played the ♥♥♥♥ out of borderlands 2, and most of the game is great and the other major DLC campaigns are great too. This one really isn't. The level design is great, I loved the new levels and landscape for the most part, but what really screws it over is that it's story and writing are just really bad.. If it had a good story, decent writing, and was not only 2 hours long, then this would be a great DLC. Also if you didn't play tales of the borderlands, then you are completely in the dark for knowing what happened before this. I guess it's good that its free, so I can't complain too much. Just hoping that this isn't forshadowing to how the writing/story/jokes are going to be in borderlands 3.

Love this game so far, it is absolutly beautiful and very fun with a friend. It is entirely possible to spend hours walking around in the beautiful forest hunting and screwing around, and has great gun play. There are many moments in the game that just feel right. Like boating through a river or walking in a forrest, feels exactly like I could port it over to reality and experience it there. If you are going to play this with a friend and enjoy a game with great action or just simply roaming around, you should definetally get it. Of course though, no game is without flaws. The co-op system is a bit dumb in some places, if your friend is playing on your world when you unlock weapons it only does so for the host. I have not played any previous far-cry games for reference to how this games story fairs over the others, but the story is ok. The most annoying thing about it is that 3 times for each of the kingpins, they will kidnap you and do a sequence thing. This completly stops whatever you were doing and forces you into this, and it also seems silly that even after the 8th or 9th time and even after you slaughtered 2 of their brother(s)/sister, they just let you go. One thing to keep in mind too is that a lot of the people who did not reccomend the game, or said that they disliked it, still had a decent amount of hours on it.

If you are going to play this with friends and/or enjoy a game with good action or freely roaming beautiful forests, you will probably enjoy this game. It has a beautiful landscape, good hunting/fishing mechanics, and great gunplay.

I love arma, and have had a ton of fun with this game. If you are going to be playing this with a friend, it makes the game astronomically better and funner. However, as much as arma is a great game, it's not without its faults. Arma 3 takes a lot from your computer to get running, you need to have an decently good graphics card, at least 8 GB of ram, and a good CPU. The way Arma was built means that the physics engine is very touchy, countless times I have witnessed very interesting bug outs, whether it be spaghetti monster bodies or tanks learning to fly, it can be quite the show. With some experimenting I managed to launch a very large truck across altis, it flew at least a good 5-6 kilometers and reached speeds faster than a bullet. My point is that if you want a super realistic and immersive expirience, Arma 3 definitally has its moments and can fulfill this, but you might want to take a gander at Squad. Sadly, I think Arma 3 is kind of dying too, although there still are a lot of servers and dedicated communities, a lot of the servers fall into very few catagories, and the more special or weird ones are dying off. However, you are able to create your own servers and play/create maps. There is also a very fun tool called Zeus where you can create missions on the fly, and a large community of mods that provide tons of content. One thing too is that Arma 3 takes tons of time to learn, even though I have 1,000 hours, there is still plenty of things for me to learn/get better at.

All in all, if you are not looking for an arcade shooter, have some friends, can embrace the glitchy physics engine, and are willing/have the patience to put the time in to learn the game, you will probably have a blast playing Arma 3.

If you liked Sniper Elite 2 or 3, no hesitation buy this game. This adds large maps that are much more open to actually explore and make your own stratagies in rather than it being so linear in the previous games. Each map takes usually just over an hour, probably an hour and a half. Higher difficulties will remove HUD eliments and make for a much more immersive game. Some problems are that sometimes in moments of haste, your character will suddenly get severe brain damage and forget how to work. You will probably die a few times to this. AI can see through trees (those special bushes will hide you, unless the music is cranked then they can see right through it) so they will shoot right through them and hit you. I really REALLY wish there was first person for this, sometimes the camera gives wierd angles and the AI can end up shooting you way before you can shoot them if your peeking a corner. All of these problems exist, but are generally pretty scarce - especially if you play in a way to avoid these things (It is possible to adapt your play style as to not experience these problems). so it may be a little frustrating at times but the game is still an amazing game. If you like shooting Nazi's in the balls, this is your game.

I am extreamly pissed off not only by this games obvious bait and switch false advertising, but also at steam. Steam refuses to help me and grant me a refund even though this game is completly false advertised. Why? Because I have over 2 hours... In this style of game 2 hours isn't enough to see how horribly wrong it is. I spawned in and though "Well, maybe its just an ugly planet..." So i colected resources and eventually (Already past the 2 hour mark) flew off to explor. To my dismay, every planet that I flew to was disgustingly the same, and patterns were showing. The same exact plant that hurts you, or gives you stuff is on EVERY PLANET. Not to mention all the resources are basically the same to. If you read this far into my rant, thank you.

TL;DR: Don't buy this game its ♥♥♥♥ and steam "help" is ♥♥♥♥ too.

Do you like loading times? I sure don't. 80% of the game is sitting there waiting for it to load.
