There's a lot of lore and mechanics to this game and it tells you literally none of it for free. Use Google and trial and error to figure things out. It sounds painful, and that's because it is.

Enjoy being feared AND hungered.

Way more addictive than you'd expect. The rules are simple, the cards are easy to understand, and everything seems fair. Until you get about 15-20 hours in.

I'm Rank 42-ish. My collection level (the thing that gives you cards) is high enough that I can access the second pool of cards it can give me. To explain, the order you get the cards in is random, but by the end of a pool of collection level (with the first one ending at 214) you will have all the same cards as anyone else at level 214. Then the second pool begins. The cards in the second and third pools are, in my opinion, SIGNIFICANTLY better than a lot of the first pool cards. You can make a few good decks with the first pool, but the cards in the second pool are extremely good and are needed to compliment or outright make a deck.

This wouldn't be a problem if the game had less randomness. I enjoy the randomness, it's won me my fair share of games, but that doesn't feel good. I'm trying to keep my rank, but I need to complete certain dailies and use certain cards (to get boosters for them) and it's getting increasingly more difficult to win. Not to mention the amount of functional decks I can make with my pool of cards is limited. To get the good cards from the second pool to upgrade my decks is random.

Overall, it is free, I never felt obligated to pay any amount, the matches are incredibly fast, and the game itself is quite fun. Just be warned that at a certain point you're going to run in to some pains that I'm not sure how to overcome.

It's way better than I expected. If you like tactical RPGs, there's no reason not to buy this.
