Uses 80% power of my RTX 3090 while sitting in a queue for hours. How much of a waste of energy that is when viewed with the entire playerbase in mind. What kind of moron thinks, "yeah cool, let's render a 3D scene at max performance in the main menu. I don't see a problem there" - You have to see the whole thing in the context that GPUs literally broke down in this way in the beta.
