This game got a hell of a lot better when I stopped worrying about spoilers and started using walkthroughs.

Some of the puzzles are very - you read the walkthroughs and regularly think "I'd never have been able to work that out" often.

It doesn't really stop you playing, this is a much more involved world than it seems.
