Wholly underwear!

The performance was abhorrent when I first booted the game up. But I'm a simple man....literally, so after switching to 1080p and turning off things i never liked to begin with (volumetric clouds/depth of field/motion blur) the game ran at around a respectable 70fps, give or take. My system is also a low end Ryzen 5/6700ti/16 gig ram...

I love the new additions to the game, they give me more to divert my time to. I was never too much into mods, but I did have some installed in the previous version, so I can expect the modding community to come up with some nifty desserts at a later date when this performance issue pans out. All in all, I'm not great at reviews...I'm actually terrible at them.

My only actual con I have at the moment is the lack of map choices considering the many additions the game has. Other than that, I'm still getting into it.

This is what a VR game should be. The love, care, and money put into this effort was well worth it. Still not finished as of this writing, and I am ignoring the internet videos and articles so I can enjoy this game at my own pace and finish it when I am ready.

Early Access Review
I think I play this too much...

I would write more, but I'm in the middle of a new galaxy...

Update: After over 6500 hours of play, I guess this game is alright.

First time mission to Duna the other day...no mods, no research, career mode, and some educated guesses on rocket design and flight path. I made it, orbited, and returned Jeb to Kerbin. I ran out of fuel while manuevering into the atmosphere, still landed safely, even though it was atop a mountain range. Many lessons learned.

One of my favortite games is Kerbal Space Program. Similar to NASA but with game rules intact and minor changes made to get rid of absurb realistic monotony and great spans of time. While you play, you might also learn a little bit as well.

Wish I was better at reviews...this game deserves much more praise and recognition than I could give it.

The first week, I was leaving Concord, on to a side quest that I can't remember, and I ran into some enemy. Right-clicked the mouse to zoom in with my sniper rifle...instantly the game seemed to freeze, but my character's point of view seemed to move higher. Next thing I know, I was roughly a mile in air (or so it seemed anyway), with the refresh rate similar to a slideshow. Then finally the game caught up loading all textures and whatnot, all the while I was yelling, "WHAT THE ******??!!!##$*(&@#(???", and "WHYYYYYY?".

I shed a tiny tear as I saw my character falling rapidly to his doom. When he hit the ground I stared for a second at my screen, then, "NOOOOOOO!" Oh, yeah, I also forgot to save for a while, so the autosave brought me back quite a bit.

Would definitely right-click again to fall to my death from a mile up. 10/10
