Games: Emily is Away franchise
Why I Like Him: Emily is Away was a great idea for a "Choices Matter" type game and I have enjoyed seeing Kyle continuously build on the game in amazing ways and for different eras of the internet. There are a bunch of little Easter eggs that he goes out of his way to include in his games and it makes them super unique. Kyle is a really sweet guy and posts updates on his twitter about what he's working on (I wanted to meet him at PAX East 2020, but I couldn't attend ). Check out the first game Emily is Away if you can; it's free to play and it's enjoyable. I'm really looking forward to the third game in this franchise and in the future, I hope Kyle experiments with some other game formats because I'd be super stoked to play anything he puts out there.

Games: Off Peak, The Norwood Suite, Tales from Off Peak City Vol. 1
Why I Like Him: Off Peak hooked me in a weird way. The game made me so uneasy, but I loved it a lot. The game-play was different than other "find the objects" type games and I could tell that a lot of thought went into hope he pieced together the train station and characters. I also personally loved seeing a weird version of Grand Central station as I've been there several times myself. The imprint Off Peak left on me prompted me to buy The Norwood Suite and man, it was a great follow-up. I could see where more was added in comparison to Off Peak and it was well-worth the 10 bucks. I also think it's really cool that Cosmo D and the band he was in (I'm not sure if he's still with them) made the soundtracks to these games themselves. It's some pretty nice electronic/house type music if you want to check out the soundtracks on their own.
