It was an exciting experience. First of all, I was impressed HOW this novel was created. Some things were a tad frustrating like disappeared saves after you finish one play-through, or the first author's notes I could easily miss but luckily I decided to check the guide though I usually don't do it afraid of possible spoilers. But mainly all those unusual, totally unexpected things like the game closed on its own after the last sentence were amazing. It's not like it was totally novel (some VNs with the same separate features come to mind) but altogether it left an unforgettable impression.

As for the story per se, nothing surprising here—same high quality, well-written, immersive, slightly dark :) In all three short routes I was contemplating a lot struck by the chars' twisted logic. I'm always astonished how weird & absolutely unexpected sb's way of thinking may be. Especially terrifying it becomes when it leads to dreadful consequences but there IS a reason (no matter how warped it is) behind all those bizarre actions. Observing such wayward chars I start thinking if my own perception is actually right and reasonable objectively.

Praises:
+free
+achievements
+short but intricate
+fitting music
+great art, seems a bit simple but perfect for the story
+unusual second-person narration
https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3331962116
Complaints:
--small game screen or how to call it with very big text box occupying half the space
--some things are uncontrollable :( like disappearing saves or the first author's notes.
--typos

I easily recommend this game. It's short, free, with several available languages, so why not give it a try.

T_T I can't play the game, it's just a black screen when I launch it. pleease, fix it! It's been 2 months since I emailed about this issue to the publisher, steam gives only this contact info. But nothing... If sb knows the way to contact the devs, please write in the comments!

the game is amazing, it' s worth its price tag, it's depressing that I couldn't finish even one route and...
I started the discussion, no reaction either. It's terrible when devs don't respond at all. :( What to do even in this situation, I'm at a loss:(

And the thing is I'm not the only one who experienced the same issue, so the problem is with the game. FIX it PLEASE!!!

I tried to use my notebook, not PC, same failure :(
I deleted it, reinstalled, verified, tried to google the solutions, I dunno what else to do.
HELP!!!!

It's been such a long journey for me :) I've been reading this novel for years! While reading it slowly I moved to a new city, changed three computers, my saves were partially lost, so at some point I had to start reading all over again O_o But it was always an enjoyable experience.

I like reading long stories, it feels so much more immersive, all the characters become very close. I was astonished to learn Umineko (both parts but still) is actually longer than our epic 'War & Peace' O_O Impressive! And I never was bored even if they showed the same main story in different chapters presenting it from different angles. Reading this novel caused such intense emotions in me, I often had waves of goosebumps. It's truly outstanding!

Music is a vital component of the novel, it creates a fitting atmosphere so skillfully, that's amazing!
https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3017389835
It's a thought-provoking story where you can test your moral principles and convictions. There were so many deep, complicated ideas I could contemplate and argue a lot but I actually don't feel like going into any details in this review. I'd just like to express my admiration and gratitude for being with me for so many years :) Now it's time to start the answers arc, I'm looking forward to another unforgettable, emotional ride!

It's a free, short kinetic psychological visual novel. It's so short that for the first time ever I don't even see the writer's Notes. That left me kinda empty and unsatisfied, I really got used to this great feature.

I can't say I like it but I still want to choose a thumb-up. Thanks for one more 'perfect' game in my steam collection.
Art was not very attractive but I get it was to make the story more atmospheric. I even have zero screenshots saved.
I had to turn off the sound completely, that typing noise with which the words appeared annoyed me a lot.
Story. Sigh. I wanted to like MC a lot, I really did. But she didn't feel relatable AT ALL! I was also raised in a poor family, my future seriously depended on my exams, if I couldn't enter the university, mum would stop getting money for my passed away dad, legally I wouldn't be a kid who needed support from the state. So my mum constantly nagged me that I needed to apply to different places, to study no matter where BUT I wanted to follow my dream, I wanted to pursue the profession I chose. So I know how such pressure feels, I know how hard it is before exams that shape your future life BUT I never, however stressful I felt, just sat and did nothing. I know it's wrong to compare myself, we all are different BUT I still believe that girl is very unpleasant. She didn't even try AT ALL. What pressure is even there? I wish my mum would be so nice as her dad and told me then that it's ok if I just did my best, that it would already count:((

Seriously, she was mainly afraid of her dad, but it's shown how attentive to her he was, how he cared and smiled only with her. Even in her nightmare he was the only one who was absent at that terrible event. Take her pregnant sister, I know lots of real cases when parents just forced their daughters to have an abortion. But here her elder sister is just allowed to stay at home and do nothing. Her dad even explained that he just tried to discipline her, he never beat her, he seriously worried when she left home. I like her family. Welp, it's not ideal but I've known far worse. MC is just being so over-dramatic. I was constantly annoyed and frustrated with her. So stupid!

And when she started blaming others, urgh she was really disgusting. It's ok to fail, it's ok to make mistakes and try again but after lazying around starting blaming others. I hate that ending, it doesn't even matter how to perceive that other Lynne. No matter who she really was it's still repulsive.

In general the novel left that impression that I've read about smth truly gross in many aspects buut I guess for a psychological horror it's a success, right? Though I guess it was intended to direct that feeling to different things. "A short story about the scariest thing in the world: being a teenager”, my ass. How will she live her adult life, I wonder where you need to meet the consequences of your choices and bear responsibilities for all your actions yourself.

Before publishing my review, I looked at the store page again and for the first time ever actually noticed that the novel is called Lynne with e, lol. What does it even mean? Who is the real protagonist here? Was she, on the contrary, a normal, pretty, smart enough girl being slowly killed by that heinous, depressing, ugly feeling? Maybe it's good there're no Notes and so we don't know for sure what it was intended to be and it's great when there can be several contradictory interpretations :)

Clear Skye Thinking was a surprisingly sweet read with bright cute characters on a nice sight-seeing one-week tour. I was impressed to learn in Notes all the places are real tourist attractions and the writer visited them herself.
https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3301107421
Though the story, as usual :), contains some heavy topics, like bullying, painful divorce, complicated family relationships, loneliness etc, the main impression is still positive and even inspiring. MC was so adorable in her lolita dresses and her new friend was cute in her own unique way. It was really fun to watch them interact with each other every day exploring new interesting places & falling for each other as a result.

I definitely recommend this charming, short, visually very pretty, well-written kinetic novel. I didn't expect it to be such a relaxing experience. I'm really grateful for this gift <3

It's a neutral review. Reading this dev's previous stories I felt on the verge of becoming their true fan as their novels are so pretty visually, explicit and cheap buut honestly now I feel kinda tired, disappointed and discouraged to buy their next projects because I don't see any progress: same terrible, inconvenient settings (no skipping of the read text is esp annoying); horrible localization. And in this story it was especially disastrous T_T mistakes practically in every sentence. Though perhaps I should be grateful for nice teaching material as I made looots of screenshots for my secondary school student to practice finding mistakes and even she was shocked how many of them there're in this story. I know the price is low, thanks for that, but it feels this beautiful novel deserves more effort and attention.
https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3301791906
Also, I was disappointed with the endings. I wish there were if not achievements (perhaps it's too troublesome to add them, who knows) but at least their names, the list would be a nice feature, too. And I wish that final phrase 'about to return to the main menu' really led me to that because at first I was at a loss how to proceed as the game looked frozen, no clicking could help, then I realized I had to use those inconvenient settings and reach the main menu through them, why?!
https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3302113642
What I'm actually really grateful is how they briefly but so well explained the world of omegaverse. Recently I watched anime about the similar relationship but still had some questions. I feel stupid but I must confess I thought it was some unique plot for that title but it turned out a popular theme and here in this novel I got all my questions answered. I guess it's the main reason why I still choose a thumb-up.

So, it's a short, cheap pretty novel without any censorship (one rape scene, mind it) but with inconvenient settings and with the real need of thorough editing.

Star-Crossed Myth - The Department of Punishments - for now is my fav Voltage otome! Though again there were too many annoying things but I've just finished my adorable Scorpio's (♥ω♥ ) route all teared-up, so I don't even want it to be a neutral review as I always chose for their games before. It was more emotional and touching experience this time, so I feel like actually recommending this novel.
https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3308500576
Praises:
+Art is gorgeous. There're so many pretty CGS, true gods' appearance was especially enchanting.
+Plot was interesting, in some routes it was so captivating I couldn't stop reading forgetting about sleep.
+Only happy endings. I need more such novels where I can relax knowing whatever the trouble is happy end is inevitable. Though some obstacles were truly sad, I really worried about characters' destiny, I wasn't indifferent.
+Steam guide for all the endings. That's really helpful, sometimes I couldn't achieve the necessary endings without it.
+Setting is awesome! Stars, gods, zodiacs... So exciting! I used to love that stuff a lot when I was a teenager, though now I find it kinda silly but still lovely.
+Video for every route was a surprising, pretty feature.
https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3307284486
Complains:
--Faceless MC again (-‸ლ) In opening video she has such a pretty face, so everything immediately becomes much more beautiful, I expected it to be that way in CGs as well buut :( It's really creepy to look at that nothingness instead of the face, she just spoiled all the charming CGs with those hot guys :(
--Repetitive stories in all routes, even same chapter names. Though I must admit it was especially astonishing when sometimes the outcome differed greatly, the solutions for the same problems could be unexpected.
--Too many typos in all routes again. It's seriously annoying and distracting. For such price games must be edited better.
--Annoying, stupid, illogical MC (-‸ლ) again. Though this time I wasn't that furious and frustrated as before. As MC is not actually a mere human, I could excuse some of her antics but still sometimes it was unbearable to see my name and read that nonsense (-‸ლ)
--It was distracting to see the text appearing simultaneously at the beginning of all three lines. It's the first time I see that O_o My brain seriously tried to follow all of them at once which was impossible of course and annoying! ⋋_⋌

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3285838147
Anyway, despite some silly plot twists and stupid, selfish MC, the novel was mainly sweet and captivating with lots of gorgeous guys to romance <3

It's gonna be a neutral review. I expected a total porn trash but it wasn't that bad though I didn't enjoy it at all.

Praises:
+Cards. It's been a while I played visual novels that have cards. I was even surprised when the first one popped up.
+Achievements. So, plus one 'perfect' game in steam collection. Actually, I think it's the main reason to buy this game;)
+Price. After selling the cards, it becomes even smaller, lol.
+Moving sprites are really ideal for 18+ scenes, I wish this feature was used more in other adult novels.
+I was pleasantly surprised to see some development of the chars' relationship, not like it was passion from the first sight. It wasn't written well but it was better than nothing :)

Complains:
--I scanned negative reviews and saw complaints about AI art. Honestly, I don't understand why it should be a reason enough to deserve a thumb-down BUT what matters for me personally is the quality of the localization. I thought the original text was Russian, as lots of sentences sound like my native language, just written with English words. Sometimes it's totally confusing, sometimes – funny but mainly annoying, as it's unacceptable to release a novel in such unreadable state. Plus, some short sentences aren't translated at all, like 'И?' a couple of times. BUT looking through the discussions I saw the dev is named Ben, so it's a riddle in this case :)
--I was bored. I know such stories aren't read for fun but even adult scenes (after so many quality nsfw novels) felt lacking in smth. And I didn't like how the male MC was thinking about the girl in the process. The dev is undoubtedly a man.
--Short. Though I guess if it were longer, it'd feel like an ordeal to finish it :)
--It's the first novel in a while where I made zero screenshots:( A hentai novel and I wanted to save nothing for my vast private steam collection. There was no interesting or relatable idea I wanted to keep in my public steam collection.
--Some plot twists were absolutely silly and illogical. I know, you need to proceed to sex scenes somehow but not in such stupid way, please. Like, oh the water in the river is chilly, it's so good for swimming, what, why?! And similar stuff:(

So, it could be nice for a short relaxing read if edited. In this state I don't feel like it could be recommended but it has some merit. Sometimes I like reading sth not very good for a comparison. You start appreciating well-done novels so much more.

It's gonna be a neutral review. I llove yaoi and try to read all available novels on Steam buut I always disliked how it's made by Y Press Games. Lots of time has passed since my last attempt to read and enjoy their games, sadly, I see no improvement. Anyway, I'm grateful for explicit gay novels but I'd like it to be a more quality experience.
https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3300143237
Praises:
+Explicit content, no need to buy/install adult dlc
+Achievements, so plus one 'perfect' game in steam collection.
+Story per se is quite captivating. I like master/slave topics and here it's demon/human relationships, so it's very exciting. Nothing very cruel, btw, no consent as it's that kind of world but everyone, welp, except some bad chars, cared deeply about each participant's pleasure. So it was a nice combination of pain and passion.
+Art is pretty.
+I enjoyed the final endings a lot. Slowly the main characters grew on me and I started caring deeply, rooting for their happily ever after. So, I finished the game totally satisfied when it actually happened.
https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3300142947
+A steam guide. I'm happy to see players are willing to devote their time for that, as some choices don't matter and routes may be unnecessary intricate, that's why officials guide are sold like separate dlcs, and they're not very cheap, lots of novels in my wishlist cost less than their guide O_o. In general, it always feels like a means to earn money without serious, soulful effort implied. I was supposed to write about positive things here but I guess I just can't :)

Complains:
--Price. Their novels are always expensive, so you expect some thorough work done buut...
–Writing is meh, as always. I've seen zero new words. It practically never happens when I read visual novels, but not here.
--Typos. Why is it 'an oxen' all the time? I double-checked the dictionary, it's said as I always remembered an ox—oxen for plural form.
--Art is nice and all BUT again and again it's totally the same like in other novels. I like the sprites, they are gorgeous but I'd like to see some new faces already. Plus, I was not the fan of that manga style CGs, white&black illustrations seemed more like initial drafts for future colorful visuals but it never happened. So it felt kinda cheap and rushed, as the whole story. Oh, and almost forgot, sometimes it was just black screen and a text. Recollecting a long list of ppl who backed this project in Kickstarter (plus a high steam price) it feels like a game deserved more attention from the devs.
https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3300143250
--Rushed, abrupt endings again. I've already mentioned how I dislike the writing, but the way all the routes are finished is especially disastrous. Sometimes it's not that bad, but quite often it's just terrible. I guess it IS some kind of skill to lead the storyline to a satisfying, logical finale but here (actually not only here, it's a general problem) it's always unexpected or feels totally unfinished, so I often just had to imagine what it was in my head myself. Totally unacceptable, in addition to black screens, just the name of the ending and an ach popped up, I was always sitting in my chair flabbergasted.
--Routes feel repetitive again, with almost the same text and it's unskippable :( I practically memorized those parts having to reread them for the 4th time. Very annoying.
--MC was extremely artificially annoying first. Plus, that pretty art felt totally ruined when chars twisted their faces, it was tooo exaggerated, so unpleasant, I tried to avoid looking at them at all. What for to make them so ugly?! Unnecessarily intense. On the one hand, it was a nice feeling to be on the demons' side, to wish for MC to submit and not to strive for freedom, equality...but still I feel it was made in a cheap way, it could have been written better. Just in a contrast to a poorly presented human protagonist I felt for demons more, not because they really deserved that.

Honestly, I feel like a hater again, I sincerely expected some progress but I see none. Though despite feeling annoyed, mainly by the fact that this game could be so much more potentially but it was never realized, I still felt involved with the chars' relationship.

It's gonna be a neutral review. This novel made me so emotional that I can't choose a thumb-down buut, sadly, those emotions though very intense (what I always appreciate a lot) were mainly negative:( It's been a while I felt so much disgust, contempt and annoyance not only to the main character but to her partner as well (-‸ლ)
https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3249922932
Praises:
+Art is cute. All the sprites and CGs are gorgeous. I'm not a fan of yuri novels, I'm more than happy watching handsome guys while reading my novels but girls leave me totally indifferent but here I couldn't help but notice how hot the characters were both in everyday clothes and in swimsuits or underwear.
+Writing is enjoyable as always. No matter how the novels are beyond my typical tastes, I'm more than eager to read anything written by ebi-hime.
+The bittersweet ending felt great, very inspiring. Though everything is far from being perfect, depending on your angle MC's life may seem quite tragic but still it felt motivating, making you appreciate life and its vast opportunities. I llove it, what I need at this stage of my own life.
+Achievements.
+Soundtrack for happy, joyful situations is very uplifting. At that moment I got some devastating ending in another novel but music here had a truly healing effect on me.
https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3296182592
Complains:
--Those girls' behaviour was too disgusting for me. It may be personal but they were both unbearable. Perhaps, it's 'cause the setting was school, a very dear place to me. So I just can't forgive what they were doing 'cause it affected not only them (let them do with their lives what they want) but innocent schoolgirls. So many times they called themselves adults (-‸ლ) when even school kids acted more mature. I don't want to spoil any details but I was fuming a lot. For example, I've been reading Umineko for years and the number of posts in the discussion for that looong novel is practically the same as for this one. Seriously, I felt like exploding if I wouldn't pour out all that rage boiling inside. So, if curious, you may click the link below for more details.
--Soundtrack for sad moments :) was also great, I guess but as I was in total disagreement with the characters and found the lack of regret or acceptance of their mistakes repulsive, that music which supposedly had to make me sympathize with the characters only made me furious, just added fuel to the fire of my anger.
--some typos.

Welp, I experienced some intense emotions and for that I'm grateful. I'd prefer positive ones, of course, but life is not always that awesome:) I wasn't bored or indifferent, that's actually the minimum I'm looking for in the novels, plus, good writing, so I found it an ok read.
