A strategy game with a peculiar characteristic compared to the genre. You not only control units, but you also live the private life of your commander (king). This means pursuing your character's dreams, socializing on a political and a personal levels, engaging in intrigue with your rivals, and taking care of your family and your kingdom.

Disco Elysium is a detective RPG entirely based on the psychology of the character you play. The points you earn in the game help you evolve personality traits (skills) like: logic, rhetoric, drama, empathy, authority, composure, etc. They determine your success in conversations and actions. Furthermore, during the whole game, each of your traits (skills) are always telling you what you should think or do. Sometimes, these traits debate among them, showing different points of view about something. Besides, when you are sleeping, your subconscious also talks to you, through two voices in your head: one from your reptilian brain and other from your limbic system. You character frequently thinks about politics, economy, romance and the crime you must solve. Damage is taken on your endurance and morale and you mostly take damage on the latter, since there isn’t much fighting.

One Hour One Life evokes reflections on how petty our lives are. We are but a small grain of sand in the real universe and in the game. The insignificance of our life only has meaning when we join with the other players to build something greater and a long lasting tribe. Life is as brief as 60 minutes and, when it is over, you leave behind all your possessions, a legacy, children and memories. In the end, all the pettiness and nitpicking doesn’t matter anymore. And you only think about your family and how you contributed to the future of your community.

Occupy White Walls (OWW) is sublime! It's a game about art in the forms of architecture, photographs and paintings. There is art even on the attires and dances your character can wear and perform. It’s an amazing place to relax, enjoy all the beauty it has and even socialize with other players. However, you not just visit gorgeous places and galleries, since you can also express your creativity. You can pick your favorite pieces of art, build rooms and gardens and even the sky can be modified by yourself. The most famous paintings are available in the game and artist players can upload their own art too! Moreover, OWW has partneship with the Birmingham Museums!

Dagon might have created a delicious way to read books, given that it is based on Lovecraft's stories. The game is a walking simulator with a rich environment, an amazing sound design and a sensational plot that combined together convey intense emotions. Dagon is poetic, philosophical and will make you think about human nature.

This is a game about teamwork with a lot of potential to be used by psychologists, therapists and HR professionals. You can play as a helpful comrade, a weirdo roleplayer, as a ship (sub) sinker griefer or as a submarine builder. And playing on the Jupiter's Europa Moon might be very exciting for science fiction fans. It should be noted that NASA considers there is a great chance of Europa be harboring life like the one we find in the game.

Barotrauma can be very fun and thrilling. After dangerous and exhausting journeys, it is possible to feel the tranquility and comfort of the outposts, when your submarine docks there. It's a must-play game for sure.

Oxygen Not Included (ONI) is Minecraft for adults. It is a complex survival and engineering game with control of temperature, flows of gases and liquids, power generation and resources availability.

The cute appearance and behavior of the asteroid settlers do not denote the game is aimed at a young audience. This approach softens the stressful gameplay filled with urgent issues that can kill your buddies. It also arouses a parenting instinct for protection, as the settlers resemble babies helplessly abandoned in the cold and cruel space environment.

There is always something in dire need of improvement at your base holding you to play a little more. ONI stimulates creativity by proposals of solutions that will help with the survival and comfort of your settlers. And there isn’t just one single solution for a problem. Even away from the game, your subconscious keeps working on your base. Maybe, while you're under the shower, you’ll proclaim “Eureka!” and urge to apply your new idea.

The downside of ONI is its slow pace. It takes a long time to make significant improvements in the base and a little mistake might escalate into a disaster that will throw you back to the Stone Age.

An amazing application of the Big History concept! The best clicker game ever made! It is a surprise to realize that an educational game can be so addictive.

This is a mix between a chat room and a game, both about deceiving. You should start doing it since the waiting room, where you can tell untrue stories about yourself to other people. In the game room, you must play a security agent or a hacker. And you do all that while pretending you are a famous character from the pop culture universe. High level players pretend they are trees or Santa Claus.

There are intentionally no powerful visual distractions (aka great graphics) so that you can pay full attention to the other player’s arguments about a hacking incident. On the other hand, there is a delightful and calm brainwaves soundtrack that helps you focus on your duty.

Definitely, this is the kind of game lawyers would love to play.

This game is so intense, so real and so harsh! Have you ever wondered if you could live alone in a forest? Have you ever read the book or watched the movie Into the Wild? Are you a fan of Bear Grylls TV shows? Then, play The Long Dark and enjoy the beautiful but unforgiving nature.
