It fits all my drunken-wifeless-medieval-knight fantasies: Slaying shapeless creatures as well as cultists and heretics while revealing the in-depth Cthulhu-ish mystery and conspiracy behind a realistic historical background, with all the headache it gives to me for the Middle English lines.

Since it's narrative focus, it's praiseworthy that all encounters are not random, giving you all the precious preparation time you'll need. Battles are forgiving given the fact that you can always fully recover before almost every single one of them. I believe it's an intended quality-of-life decision, rather than a weakness in gameplay.

The story itself is solid. A merely perfect combination of medieval Slovakia, various religions and faiths in conflict, and a healthy dose of mythical fantasies. I'm personally in favour of how it expands from "no ;w; my wife's gone" and "wtf the old castle blown up" to "now I'm killing heretic god for good." with a well-arranged sequential build. How the climatic scene comes in a row near the end of the story, including the hot air balloon trip, really concludes the builds and pushes the dramatic tension to a higher level.

9/10, for the 6 hrs fun trip with extreme headaches.
