good game.

looks cool - Dont buy this unless its on sale though its more expensive then the previous species packs.

EDIT: Seems i cant even play this DLC since the multiplayer checksum is broken. I have reinstalled 3 times , wiped out the stellaris folder in documents multiple times , i have unsubscribed from EVERY mod and ensured that everything in steams workshop folder is gone. Reinstalled the paradox launcher multiple times.

STILL got a different checksum for some reason. Welp if i cant boot it i cant give it a good review.

A good Gameplay loop but really felt like another case of release too early then fix it later
Noticed a few bugs and the same enemy types repeat very quickly so lack of variety and overall didn't meet my expectations for a full priced game.
Id recommend getting it on a 75% sale though in a year or two with more patches since it will likely be worthwhile then but just not now.

This game is pretty great. Still had a lot of bugs and potential to turn into something amazing shame that CA dropped it dead just as it was getting good :(

Re:Turn is an interesting game - Its a great concept with compelling pixel art along with a pretty compelling story but let down by some repetitive gameplay and somewhat abrupt ending.

Pros -
Story is compelling and keeps you engaged through its around 4-5 hour runtime.
Pixel art is great helping to create a creepy atmosphere.
The characters were believable with realistic reactions to the situation along with well written (If a bit cringy) dialogue with some nice touches such as characters commenting on things that Saki has already encountered in later chapters.
The soundtrack is suitably creepy and well composed.


Neutral -
The puzzles are simple but fun however some of them you can get stuck on if your not paying close attention to the dialogue.

Cons -
The ending felt a bit abrupt and left a few plotholes and unanswered questions.
The gameplay had too much backtracking along with the odd choice of not being able to run until half way through the game which made the backtracking feel a lot more tedious and making the game feel repetitive near the end.
No replayability (except for one alternative ending)

In conclusion - The game is not half bad and i would recommend playing it as its an enjoyable experience if a bit short and frustrating at times.
If the devs are reading this: You did a good job with this and i cant wait to see what you come out with in the future (Hopefully something a bit more creepy and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up in my opinion)

Wow - what a game and since this was free for the original owners of superhot i can wholeheartedly recommend people to try this game out if you already own it since there is so much of this game that is an improvement over the original
- New Weapons
- New Abilities
- Progression
- A LOT more levels
There is so much more to this game that i haven't even played yet and even if you dont get this game on sale its worth the asking price for sure.

Edit:Since the devs have taken the liberty of putting the beta back on steam for people to pay for i decided to update my review to show you the matchmaking experience of both games
