Feel like being the captain of Enterprise?
Want to micro-manage your galactic voyage down to each individual crew member?
Like games that are strategic, challenging, and rogue-like?
This game is for you.

This is an indie game with excellent gameplay mechanics. Another shining example of how good gameplay makes the game.

Whoever said the 80's sucked can get a cyborg middle finger up their arse.
Who knew Far Cry 3 with a 80's Sci-Fi skin plus a rowdy sense of humor can be so bloody Awesome?!

This game is short, sweet, and well worth you time and money. The mounds of fun you will have middle fingering your way through this game is entirely worth it. It's just so good to see developers loosen up and deliver this much craziness in a small, condensed package.

Be warned that this is NOT Far Cry 3. You can probably finish this in 5 hours, 3 if you're a Far Cry veteran. But it's not about length, it's about the heart, awesomeness, and the sheer cyborg balls that made this game. If you have a good sense of humor, and an itch for anarchy and violence, play this game!

.. Did I mention you get to ride a Blood Dragon that shoots lazers out of its eyes? Yeah, that happens (albeit in just one mission).

Behind the terrible PC Controls and being a bad PC Port in general, there is a great game.
However, there are too many little problems and frustrations that simply keeps me from enjoying the game.
If I find the controls on an ancient game like Zelda: OoT better than a recent game like Dark Souls, then something has failed spectacularly. I'm sure if I used a controller, it'll be much better, but releasing this as a rushed PC port without any resemblance of good controls (which makes or breaks the game) is a terrible idea.

Don't buy this game, unless you're willing to go through tons of hoops to enjoy it.

Borderlands 2 is one of the rare triple A games that doesn't take itself very seriously. Its gameplay is okay, its combat and RPG mechanics are mediocre, and its endgame content is grindy and repetitive. But, what makes this game special is its environments, characters, and how they react with one another.

Possibly Anthony Burch's magnum opus (seriously, go watch Hey Ash, Whatcha' Playing), the writer creates memorable and fantastic characters. The antagonist is just someone you love to hate, and its writing and voice acting is definitely on par with the famous antagonist from Farcry 3. And then, there's Tiny Tina, one crrrrazy little mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥! With all of this, the game has a fantastic sense of humor. For example, when reviving a downed ally in co-op, you might say things like "Wow, um... do you work out?"

Its environments are beautifully crafted. Set pieces and events makes the world vibrant. Crazy things happen during the main campaign, and it makes you love (and hate) Pandora that much more.

Its combat gets repetitive, but during the main campaign, it stays fresh. Most importantly, though, is that it is entirely different from those CoDs and BFs. It definitely stretches what FPS's can do.

Unfortunately, its extensive amounts of DLC and TWO Season passes does mar this otherwise great game. If you do not have the DLC's, you cannot level up your character after certain levels. Online, this effectively means you're seggregated from people who do. So that really sucks.

All in all, this is a great game. Beautiful environments, great story, and excellent characters.

... Still haven't beaten the last level.
The only game difficult enough and worth it enough to force me to configure my PS3 remote onto my PC.
... Still haven't beaten the last level.

If you like platformers with great kinaesthetics and tough as nails level design, this is the game for you.

A great game to relax with and explore... You sit in front of a fireplace and burn things. You are given hints about combos, and finding these combos give you awards. It's suprisingly relaxing and fun..

And then the ending hits you. I won't spoil it, but suddenly everything you felt was eccentric, weird, or wrong about the game has been changed to powerful allegories. It is a... unique, experience that will leave you feeling philosophical. I highly recommend this game for the experience it offers.

To the Moon is not so much a game for you to play, but a story for you to interact with. And what a beautiful story it is. This game follows the memories of a dying man to see why his final wish is, of course, to go to the moon. The story is extremely well executed; it keeps you guessing the whole way through, trying to piece together information.

What sets this story-telling game apart is its ability to evoke emotions. I don't want to spoil anything but let's say that, by the end of it all, I was in tears. With that said, it is important to accept the game and give into it in order to feel its full impact. Also, anyone who has read a lot of story or studies literature can probably see the plot coming a mile away. This, plus the fact that the Actual gameplay is terrible, means that you must be cautious if you're deciding to buy this game.

But I recommend this because of its heartfelt storytelling and its ability to affect me. This is a wonderful story inside a game.

Antichamber is a puzzle game that focuses on typical gaming conventions, such as basic 3D space, and then utterly breaking them. It is a game for Escher fans, a game of exploration and unlearning and relearning rules.
If you feel like you want to enter and explore a realm that has no basic laws of physics, or a game that is stunning to discover and entices you to explore it, or even just a game that forces you to change conventions and take a hard look at how and why certain, VERY logical things are designed, then you my friend have very perculiar tastes. Also, this game is for you.

I wouldn't say this is worth $20 or $15 dollars, tho. I would say it's more of a $10 game. Plus, I have run into some issues that crashes the game (really late game, tho). So you might want to hold off until a sale.

Mark of the Ninja is one of the most streamlined stealth game I have ever played. Slick and compelling stealth gameplay mechanics, deliberate and inspired level design, mixed in with a fantastic and beautiful cartoon-noire style makes this game quite the charming piece of entertainment and one of the most rewarding game to master.

The biggest thing I enjoyed about this game is its variety of choices. Each level normally gives you various paths and strategies to tackle the obstacles. What's more is that the game gives you a choice through its mechanics, as it rewards the patient players, the players who explore the level, and even players who likes to kill every enemy in his wake with gratifying blood and guts.

The game is a challenge but on multitudes of levels. For example, the "Ghost" achievement requires you to not kill anyone and not be detected for a level, which is undoubtedly the most difficult. However, trying to blaze through the level by killing everyone also poses different sets of challenges.

All in all, this is a masterfully crafted game. Every facet of the game is designed with the utmost attention (another example is the more "disturbances" you do to a certain A.I., the more aware he/she will become). This is a must place to those who like platformers, or stealth games. However, if you're in it for the story, this isn't the game for you.
