Storyline is great, gameplay is great.
A good portion of the community can be somewhat elitist especially when you're playing solo.

Do I recommend this game? Yes and no, if you have friends definitely get into it.

If you're playing solo and find good people then yeah it's pretty great.

Otherwise you'll face players who think they're the bees knees in raids and end game content.

Not available for SEA region, unfortunate really because I think the game looks fun with friends.

Loved this game more than the second one.

The atmosphere was real scary and has a better story in my opinion.
I like how the game is very linear and when you get chased and in intense moments, the map layout is very straightforward and helps to guide you to do the objectives and get to where you need.

Took me around 2 hours to complete the game for my first time(granted I've watched countless of youtube videos as a young teen)

Overall good spook.

Improved parkour from the first game.
Night time is less scary with volatiles not showing up unless high chase level.

Decent story and gameplay, scratch the itch as a sequel for the second game.

Bought it on day 1 and I've put decent hours and not finished the game yet due to interesting side quests.

Recommended buy for sure.

Definitely a learning curve compared to other survival games but scratches The Forest itch for multiplayer.
Learning how to apply bandages, building fire and finding the right plants for your needs takes a good chunk of the learning process.

After knowing the basics, it gets progressively easier.

Worth especially during a sale if you're a fan of survival games.

Matchmaking is still bad as people still trigger rooms and don't use communication at least in SEA region.

The obvious answer is to buy it if you are planning to play it with someone and finishing it with that person up until the end if you're looking for a unique co-op experience.

Best played if you're a couple on the verge of a divorce.
