Has some neat Concepts like Fusion and Afflictions being tied to the Player Character rather than a singular Monster.
The Visuals are probably gonna throw off most people initially, it combines a lot of styles, Pixelart, 3D, Drawings etc - I especially like some of the Boss Designs, but my takeaway is that overall the style could have used more refinement.

Same goes for the Fusion Mechanic, the Visuals for them seem to be procedurally generated and there are thousands of them - I would have strongly preferred more focused Fusions with less "Variety" - as alot of the Fusions end up looking very similar

The Endgame grind is definitely too drawn out, Shop Prices and Resource Gain relating to it definitely needs to be adjusted.

Even with its flaws an enjoyable Experience

Shadows Campaign checks all the boxes for a good Sonic Game, responsive Gameplay with good Leveldesign, new Interesting Gimmicks and most importantly, a good Story.

Sonic Generations however, has not been brought up to the same standard.
Graphically it looks worse and runs at 60 FPS while Shadows Campaign runs at 120 FPS.
The controls also feel off in comparison, but that could be part of the framerate Issue.

Neither Game had Widescreen support at launch sadly.

If you only want to play the Shadow Campaign, its likely not worth the full price.
Wait until it goes on Sale.

Great Game for Fans of any GotG Iteration.
It is a linear Story and decision driven Game with combat and light puzzle sections.
Some Decisions will lead you to different gameplay/minigames, but the Story will be mostly the same.

Short and Fun,
Combat is Action and Reaction,
wonderfully replicates the unique Hellboy Art Style

Challenging Retro-Styled Metroidvania Plattformer,
lots of "I get it" moments once you get a new Ability which you can use for an already visited Area.

Very much enjoyed my time with it, but it doesnt put much focus on combat which I would have wished to see more of, as the developer certainly can do it well!

Also ran great on Steam Deck, Text for interactable objects may not be readable but other than that no Issues.

Early Access Review
Great Spinoff to DRG which is just as likely to get you addicted to it as the Original.

Absolutely amazing DLC for an already amazing game,
it is everything you expect and more with the difficulty definitely peaking.

Game seems fine but I constantly walk slowly when using a controller - an Issue I have not had with any other game, makes it very tedious to play and boss fights near impossible.

Hadnt heard of this Game until it was claimable in Humble Choice.

This Game is very atmospheric, the tone it sets dictates the (regular) difficulty.
The best comparison I could draw is maybe Blasphemous, but this game is a lot harder.
Its very unforgiving with fast paced combat and hard hitting enemies.

(After beating NG+, once you understand how some abilities work and synergize, the game gets alot easier, I managed to beat alot of bosses in a single attempt)

Other reviews may tell you that the path to progress is difficult to find but I managed even with the lack of a map and without using guides.

It has tons of bosses granting you modifiers as unique as their fights upon defeating them.

All in all, highly recommend it for people who like difficult story rich games.

The most horror you will find in this game are abstract structures and well, body-horror.

You mostly do puzzles with combat inbetween and the game is quite short at a little less than 6 hours of playtime.
If you are interested id recommend picking it up on sale.
