I will be real, I hadn't thought of this game in years; I didn't especially enjoy it when I played it. It was not especially engaging. As some of the other reviews note, though, the developer went on a wildly transphobic rant in the most recent patch notes, and apparently has a habit of the same bigoted rants on his own social media as well. He got banned from his own forum, which is... wild. The number of red flags in his complaint about it is astounding, I initially thought it was parody due to how transparently garbage his behavior is.

Game's bad. Dev's worse.

I really enjoyed this game. It's very pretty and the dynamic soundtrack is extremely well done.

This is the best "pure" Arena Shooter in existence. It takes the best parts of the old arena shooter games, then makes sure it works smoothly in a modern setting. It recognizes the things that are antiquated about old arena shooters and removes them. It's only ten dollars. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy for yourself and a friend, then enjoy getting better at something.
