WAKA-WAKA, MOTHA-WAKA!!!

I have experienced Pac-Man Championship Edition DX(+) for over 100hrs on PS3 and I can't recommend this enough. Forget all the clones, wannabes, "PAC-MAN Museum" (ok Battle Royale may be cool) and that "Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures" game, this IS the one you need to (keep) play(ing). The DLC adds some cosmetic stuff and some extra mazes that you may or may not want to spend $$$ on.

PRESENTATION
No story, no intro you get to the point. At first there is very little to do. The game is hand holding you from the modes so you can try them at least once before progressing. The only negative from the game presentation is the Main Menu which the Facebook integration and the Achievements tab brought a very mediocre interface.

GRAPHICS
The graphics are well made and I love the direction they went. It has some classic themes/skins like Pacmania with those lego brick walls, neon mazes, etc.

SOUND
The 90s Techno music compliments the game in nostalgia (you know that era when you were watching Mortal Kombat: The movie and screaming MOOOORTAAAL KOOOOMBAAAAT when the). 5.1 or headphones for maximum munching enjoyment recommended

CONTROLS
The controls are directionals keys and 1 for the bomb mechanic (which just resets the ghosts so you won't die - you lose some speed though don't overuse it) so the keyboard is recommended.
For Big Picture Mode, 360's d-pad is a joke don't use that, instead use a ps3 controller or analogue sticks as a last resort.

RATING
6 wakas out of 5

edit: this review is written in haste.
