Very heavily inspired by Resident Evil 1 while feeling a lot like Cry of Fear at the same time. Rips off some ideas here and there, but more often than not makes the less fresh ideas feel like it's own. Very quickly became one of my favorite indie games I've ever played. Lots of unlockables that give a lot of replayability. Well worth the purchase price.

HORRIBLE STUTTER ISSUES ON WIN 7 THAT MAKE THE GAME UNPLAYABLE

Game is above average, but RE2R is remarkably better and it's not quite as faithful to the original 3 as it should have been.

This game has charm in spades. Clearly the developer had fun creating and implementing their outside-of-the-box (no pun intended) gameplay ideas and I definitely had fun messing around with them. The fact that you never really know what to expect in the levels, gunplay, enemies, etc. always leaves me smiling when I discover something new that I wouldn't have thought of, lending very well to the game's replay value.

Clearly this is no AAA gaming experience but if you came to the indie section on steam looking for that, you're in the wrong place, buddy. There's some bugs here and there, like how coming out of the pause menu makes you look down at the ground. In a game where combat is so reminiscent of Serious Sam, fluid movement is a must. Luckily, the developer has shown a fantastic dedication for post launch support with patches already released and more planned for the near future, also lending to their credit.

What could have been a quick and passionless pump-and-dump with an inflated price tag turned out to be a soulful, witty, fun little shooter that shows us that simple shapes don't mean simple times. Also, right now it's FREE! What are you waiting for? Hit that green button.

First off, I wanna say the game is fun, BUT every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ update comes with paid dlc. OK, they took out the safe ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ after people called them out on it, but they still have their corporate fist lodged in your ass so far they can feel your pulse. Just look at the dlc list, 150 dollars for all of it on top of the retail price. Ya, the game is in depth and fun, but you're nickeled and dimed at every corner. It's a ♥♥♥♥ show. If you're smart, you'll download a dlc unlocker.

Not even worth the download. Obviously just an effortless cash in on zombie survival game popularity. Everything about it is either an idea stolen from another game or just really, REALLY boring
