Wie alle neueren Paradox Spiele deutlich zugänglicher und ansprechender visualisiert. Hat mit Patch 2.0 einen riesen Schritt nach vorne gemacht und ist jetzt das Spiel, auf das ich gehofft hatte.

Großartiger Nachfolger für Warband. Riesige Sandbox mit unglaublich vielen Möglichkeiten eigene Geschichten zu schreiben.

Ein super spaßiges Spiel, auch für Zwischendurch. Fast wie Stronghold in der guten alten Zeit

This is a car crash of a game and worse than FIFA at its weakest moments. I really wanted to like this game as I liked the payment model but the gameplay is anything but fun most of the time:
- There seems to be no real defence system: Either your player does nothing to get the ball or it most likely will be called a foul by the referee
- The referee itself does symply not work: Around 50 % of decisions are wrong. Of anything I really didn't expect a worse ref than the Fifa ones
- You are forced to use gameplay helps. Setting everything on "manual" ist just unplayable, and that quit literally
- Enemy players have a forcefield that let your players stumble, get much slower or just let the ball go for no other reason than the presence of an enemy player

As I am an offline player I tried the master league which is enjoyable and in parts much better than the FIFA career:
++ Many training options
+ a finance system

But thats about it:
- Scouting is a joke
- Contracting a player or extending a contract is just trial and error with no real feedback


I could go on and on on how much this game disappoints me, but it has taken to much time of my life as it is.

**UPDATE**
So after 13 Updates it seems to be a time for an short update:
The positive feedback still stays and if i could I would gibe the game an even bigger thumbs up now:
1. The team is working consistently on bugs and new features. They are listening to the community and do their best to include their wishes.
2. All but one of my negative points were addressed and greatly improved.
3. The remaining one being the difficulty of the game: It is still, and probably will remain, an easy game. As mentioned before this is not inherently bad; I do enjoy this difficulty a lot, but hardcore lovers of the fm franchise may be disappointed.

So without any more words: Buy and enjoy it, so we can get a lot more great updates and see a We are Football 2 in the future!

**Original Review:**

So, first of all: This games receives a positive feedback because it is a lot of fun. And by a lot I mean a whole lot of fun. For me it is a much appreciated counterpart to the football manager, which is also great but can get a bit tedious.

Let's start with the positives:

+ I really like the UI. Espacially in comparison to the fm: More colourfull, more icons; just overall more fun to luck at
+ The different areas you can interact with
+ Personally, I really enjoy the match display. I don't need a 3d match, since it always looks and feels clunky at best
+ the fast paced gameplay

The negatives:

- The match calculations seem a bit off: Positioning of players doesn't feel right, Participation of a single player in a play at different points looks like he might be using a portal over the field
- Player prices: I am able to sell my players at really really good prices and on the other side to purchase players at really really low prices. That makes it way too easy to replace large if not the whole team as you like and improve it
- Match results: The game seems to favour you when calculating the matches. It feels to easy: I started as Eintracht Frankfurt and won the championship. Another game I got contracted in the german 3rd league which had the object to avoid relegation. Instead i achieved second place and now I am playing the 2nd league. There again havong the objective to avoid relegation I am currently ranking at 6th place just one point behind 2nd place.
- Overall feedback of game elements is missing
- Buildings are built instantly
- The week has to be interceptable: As I am getting older my memory is getting worse; having multiple player interactions on monday how am I supposed to remember after a full week and a game what I wanted to do or what I told him

Feature whishes:

- Manager area. Please let me do something with the money I earn
- Let me save right before a game

Hervorragendes Total War nach einigen schwächeren. Wesentlich mehr Tiefgang und Komplexität. So kann es weiter gehen.
