Tactical Breach Wizards (TBW) is great tactical puzzle game with writing that has no business being as good as it is. I didn't come to a tactical game like this for the writing but TBW has definitely unfairly raised the bar for the rest of them.

A good time if you can decide what your vision of fun is! CK3 is more of a relationship sim than a strategy game - but it's an excellent story-generator that can create some exciting situations for strategising your way out of. More thoughtful consideration of religion (especially the wild and exciting religious politics of western Europe) and some options/controls to counter the horrible attrition (like recruiting only a fraction of your levy) would be useful additions.

Pentiment has a striking style, great sound, and a powerful narrative. There are, as you'd hope given the name, several layers to this game and I think it does a good job of 'speaking' to the player through the story and through the mechanics.

[Early Access] This game is really neat. It's not action packed - so expect grand strategy rather than RTS. It is also extremely detailed - kind of like Crusader Kings meets Civilisation? It has lots of little touches too - for example I just noticed that my councilor who is hanging out in Paris is in front of the Louvre. Well worth a look if you are looking for a pretty fascinating grand strategy with a strong narrative.

Citizen Sleeper is a quite a special game I think. It is a tense lonely cyberpunk dystopia that isn't full of guns and noise. It has some quite wonderfully powerful moments and a set of systems that are so familiar to me as a tabletop gamer but which are still fascinating when presented in a videogame. The ideas, the images, the soundscapes are all excellent. Definitely play this.

This game is pretty fun mad prepper ♥♥♥♥. I have mostly been playing MP and can recommend the post-apocalyptical anarcho-syndicalist commune experience. Big mod scene is pretty necessary too.

This was a great little game! Very atmospheric with an interesting setting and story. Gameplay was nice and has kind of a puzzle vibe. It's not really a driving game so if you are looking for intense vehicular action rather than a noir story it might not be your thing?

A pretty great game actually. Looking forward to them doing even more with this amazing setting and environment that they've built. Curious about the scope for multiplayer. Finally: hoping they are more kind to the devs in future.

Really great spaceship noises and a pretty good and interesting skill ceiling. I still am terrible, but this game is fun enough toake me want to be good!

Astroneer is delightful.
