I was seriously surprised by this game. The writing puts million dollar video game companies to shame. Glenn is one of my favorite heroes, human even when the stakes were high, victim of his situation. The music was great and the only part of the game which felt indie was the gameplay. It was hard to be acquainted to western-style upgrade techniques, the anvil, the crystals system was not intuitive as the rest of the elements, I freakin loved the sky armors however. The areas were very big and the game felt like it was dragging a bit until Act 3.

I can't help but compare to to Sea of Stars which was released 8 months afterwards. Sea of Stars had very shallow writing but its music, vfx and tempo as you are moving through an area captured perfectly the Chrono Trigger "vibe". I can't help but wonder what kind of magnum opus we would discover if these two studios collaborated.
