The Nemesis system is genuinely one of the most interesting, satisfying and enjoyable systems I've ever seen in a video game, not to mention incredibly unique. With all the bonuses to how it functions in this instalment, it's even more enjoyable than the previous game.

The progression trees are super satisfying to unlock as well, and allow you to focus into specific builds quite nicely, such as being much more aggressive, stealthy or ranged. Enemy AI is pretty good, along with them having really funny dialogue to listen to. The Questing is a little forgettable but it's still fun, and the combat is really enjoyable along with the movement; being able to leap around everywhere, especially when you get the Wraith upgrade to boost your running speed, is great.

My sole complaints are that the weaponry unlocks aren't the most interesting, along with the armour n' stuff. And sometimes the parkourier stuff can bug out a little, making it super hard to get over a basic ledge or drop from one and so on.

I wouldn't personally pay the full price, especially not for the additional DLC which are great but nothing too amazing, but then again I'm quite stingy. Definitely, 100% worth picking up on sale for sure though. <3

You're honestly in for quite a fun experience with a pretty unique upgrade system, even if I don't feel it has enough content to keep me coming back too much, it's still super fun to mess about in, with some cool enemy designs.

Early Access Review
An amazing step-up from the first game, that feels like the perfect sequel - even the artstyle despite going to 3D feels the same~

I always thought this was some random stupid game that wasn't worth the money, but it was on sale for 2.99 and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I'd have gladly paid the full price, the amount of references and the hilarious 'WOOO WAR AND MONEY MURICA' they show America as is great. The gameplay is really fun, you can play quietly, blow as much stuff up as you can, and find multiple ways to get through levels. The bosses are a little easy, but they're still fairly challenging if you don't cheese them. The art is also insanely well done, and the switch between low poly pixelated world view to side scrolling action-packed gameplay was also a really nice surprise.

PROS:
- Great graphics, I'm sure any PC from the 21st century could run it, I get about 200-300FPS on a mediocre PC
- Intense, action-packed gameplay that somehow still allows for quite a bit of choice making
- Tons of unique gameplay styles for each character, with awesome references
- Tons of levels and fairly varied enemies
- A great sense of humour, although some might not be too into it
- Really easy to grasp controls (Although I was kind of surprised to be using T+Y+U alongside WASD at first for Player 1)
- Great soundtrack
- A really unique Lives system for continuing levels without having to restart

CONS:
- Some more variation in enemies and so on would be amazing
- There's already tons of content, I just wish there was even more
- Bosses are cheesed very easily
- You haven't bought it yet

I bought it for the full price literally an hour before it went on sale for 7.50. ♥♥♥♥ my life.

On the brighter side, it's definitely worth it.

Like, really worth it. As in everything about it (other than a lack of variation in enemies and weaponry, which will probably change eventually - and you only notice after quite a while of playtime) is awesome.

The artstyle is awesome, endearing and never gets old. Lowpoly with pixel art, reminding me of old games like DOOM graphics, with much nicer lighting and more modern controls, effects and so on. It's fun and interesting, and the work that's gone in to make it look as great as it does shows, even if it is shown with simplistic, retro-y graphics~

Definitely worth buying, especially since new updates will be coming~!

Apart from some connection issues sometimes, it's a great game ;) Plus when you're dead you can just think of eating all the female operators' asses <3 and some of the guys ;) LOL

Pros:
- Awesome fighting system based on learning as you fight, and building yourself combat decks (although I hope more and more moves will be added in the future, as so far a lot of them are pretty similar, except for a few cool ones)

- World is beautiful and interesting, if a little confusing, to explore. Even when I hadn't realized there's more than 3 areas (The tower, town, and bay) for the first hour I was enjoying myself immensely, before some random guy lead me (after I whooped his ass like 8 times) into a whole new massive load of areas

- The PVE is just as interesting, fun, frustrating and difficult as with PVP (most the time) and it's awesome when out of nowhere a player will start helping out, or vice versa

- Bosses and sub-bosses are fun and challenging, especially with all their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minions

- Planned updates to add even more cool content (which in some senses it does need quite badly)

- Fun and quite important system for armour and how it affects your speed, strength and defense

- Finding Cairns is awesome and quite rewarding, as is finding new masks

Cons:

- Armour system could be made a lot more diverse and interesting, I have so many of the same bits or similar bits of it that it's kind of annoying to collect after the first load

- LAG. Biggest issue; the servers are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up sometimes which means you basically cannot play until it's calmed down, otherwise you have no idea what's going on in a fight and you'll just wind up dead

- CRASHES. Not only have I fallen through the world once, the game has crashed around 4 times so far. Not the worst thing in the world, but still frustrating.

Overall: It'd probably be best to wait a little bit to buy the game, although it's still fine to play at the moment, as it is <3
