Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is one of the best first-person shooter games out there, and it deserves all the praise it gets. The game mechanics are incredibly well designed, and the gun-play feels fantastic. The graphics are also top-notch, with incredible attention to detail, and the sound design is simply amazing.

The game features a great variety of game modes, including competitive, casual, and more, ensuring that players of all skill levels can find something to enjoy. The matchmaking system is also excellent, ensuring fair and balanced matches.

What really sets Counter-Strike: Global Offensive apart, though, is its community. The game has a thriving eSports scene, and watching professional players compete at the highest level is truly inspiring. The community is also incredibly supportive and helpful, and playing with others is always a blast.

Overall, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a must-play for any FPS fan, and I highly recommend it. It's an amazing game that truly deserves all the praise it gets, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for this incredible title.

The game has been developed so much since post release. Nine out of ten problems have been resolved, and the endgame is more diverse. Quality of life improvements such as the ability to open your inventory whilst moving, and the fact that all items are crafted instantly, make the game enjoyable again. It is easier to level up tradeskills, and levelling them past the maximums presents endgame rewards. The new Brimstone Sands expansion adds a plethora of useful gear - much of which is available via solo side questing - but unfortunately does not touch on quest diversity. New cut-scenes provide accessible story-telling of important lore. The game appears to be in a state wherein I am happy to double my playtime.
