this is childhood, and finally i can play without having to manage the community patches. this is very much a blessing for me and many others, the only thing that could make this better would be a remaster.

just not linking a psn account. it's as if sony has no idea how the games industry works, which is pretty bad if you are a publisher. i am very sorry for arrowhead to have their insane success diminished by dumb descisions on sony's part, but i don't think there's another option to voice our discontent effectively. the ratings wouldn't have had to drop like this sony, do better.

update: they went back on that change, you don't need psn anymore. though i still don't trust sony completely, i can at least recommend the game again.

i honestly can't recommend this game. i'd love to, i played a lot of bethesda games, mainly fallout 4 and skyrim, and absolutely adore them and the formula they follow. but starfield is just bland. it doesn't have the good modification system of fallout 4, and the leveling system is also very uninteresting, even more so than fallout 4's. the gunplay is a lot like fo4, which i liked, but the fact the basically took the space exploration out of my space exploration game makes it (once again) not worth it, star citizen has a more polished space experience.

all in all, starfield is just disappointing for what i could and should have been, and unless the modders fix it, again (which is not how this is supposed to work), i can't really recommend this to anyone. every genre it tries to do it does worse than other games, and for 70€, that just won't do.

basically an improved version of the first one, if you like that, you'll definetly like this one as well. but even if you didn't play that one, if you like turn based rpgs, this is recommendable as well.

This game is great and has a lot of potential. It's really relaxing to float around on the seas and manage your ship, and visually it's also great for the current development stage (or rather in general). If the bugs got ironed out a bit this could very well become one of the best maritime sims I have had the pleasure of playing.
