Gotta say I'm super impressed with what they created.
Love the banger soundtrack and the visuals are pretty amazing.
Definitely worth trying out if you are a Veteran of PoE1 or a Newcomer.

This game is a blast!

There is a huge amount of love poured into this and you can feel it. The rogue-lite system of upgrading your town and getting better at handling what the waves throw at you combined with the neat upgrades you find along the way work very well together.

The different types of strategies on how to handle these encounters also helps keep the gameplay loop interesting.

Overall a pretty neat game, definitely interested to see where it's going to lead over time and what is still in store for us.

I wouldn't recommend the game in it's current state.

Spent a weekend or so on getting through the campaign( which was actually pretty ok ).
Then did the different dungeons for various gear upgrades as well as did some corruption stuff.
The gameplay loop at the end became a bit stale and even though i got a lot of rewards they didn't feel all that meaningful.
It looks good in regards to graphics and the UI isn't the worst too, but for me the "endgame" was quite boring.

Definitely looking forward to future content patches/updates and further development.
Will revisit the review once that happens

Well the game is nice and all, but the missing feature to start a new character from lvl 1 so you can play with your friend is ruining all fun to be had.

It's not like they couldn't do that, they just seem to not want to, so they can sell more ingame boosters so your friend can play with you without feeling like he's underpowered

It's an easy marketing strategy:

Player X and Y play together.

Player X and Y have different times that they can play together, so X is leveling faster

Y falls behind. X gets some lucky drop and his DMG and survivability just skyrocket. Y can't keep up anymore with X and they can't really play together anymore, due to X being so far ahead.

Y has 3 options. Stop playing, get extremely lucky to close the gap between him and X or buy some ingame stuff to catch up.

I just stopped playing.

I dont usually play Single Player games, but Kenshi really took me in and devoured me like a little baby.

Are you a sadist or an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? Then this game is for you.

No Storyline because the game doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about your character, so you'll have to sort out for yourself what you want to be.

Yep this is Battlefield in the middle ages

Best example of how to make a good and free Action RPG with intricate and interesting mechanics aswell as setting a statement of how F2P is meant to be.

All i can say is 40/40 would pay full-price!
