I decided to give it a try to this game even after all the mess around it because I've liked all the games in the saga so far. But right as I started playing it I felt something was off and didn't play well. Turns out GFearbox commited one of the biggest disrespects I can take as a gamer and the game has hardcoded keybinds.

I'm a leftie gamer, I've been gaming with the arrow keys for movement for more than 30 years and turns out Borderlands 3 has those keys hardcoded to the emote functions. Which makes trying to play the game a bloody mess. It makes you stop shooting, stop from reloading...

Even worse is there's no way to rebind the emote keybinds. Neither through menus nor through config files. they're literally hardcoded into the game.

So after this review and warning for those who play games with non-standard KB+M keybinds, I'm headed to the support section to request a refund for the game...

Funny and accessible deck-building rogue-like. The workshop mods and the custom run modes keep the game fresh and fun.
I'm not a fan of rogue-likes but got hooked to this game from the beginning.

This game is a lovely piece of art.

Build your farm, sell your crops, make friends... Go small or big, take it chill or go nuts micromanaging and maximising profits. Hurry up or take your time. Only you decide how you want your farm to work.

Great game to devote a couple minutes here and there or to jump in for hours.

This game deserves every penny it costs and some more.

This game is a better succesor of the original saga than Doom 3 ever was. Fast, adrenaline-filled and gory it takes back to the old school run & gun genre. As with the original the story is just the bit and pieces that get you from one demon massacre to another and it does a fine job at it.
If I had to find two inconveniences they'd be glory kills getting stale after some time and the couple 'final boss' fights that seem a bit out of place with those pattern-attacking-health-bar-bullet sponges boss fights. However the rest of the game makes it well worth.
At least this time I don't have to choose between my gun and my flashlight :P

Amazing visuals, stunning music, lovely enviroments. If you like 'walking simulators' this game is a must-have.
It takes about two hours to finish at a normal pace. Getting every collectible and looking for every achievement gives you some more gameplay time.
Although the game strongly recomends a controller It can be played with KB+M fine (you can't rebind keys though)

Early Access Review
Don't let the graphics mislead you. This is actually a well packed Zombie survival game. It's frequently updated by one of the most responsive dev i've seen in Early Access.
It's Free to play but no 'pay to win.' It has workshop, marketplace and even a map editor for you to build your own zombie apocalypse.

I know it's free. But go buy the gold upgrade, it's worth supporting Nelson so he keeps updating this nice game.

I don't know exactly why, but i love this little survival game.
It doesn't feature a lot of content and is rough around the edges, but it made me clock way more hours than i thought i would.
The Story mode (Your submarine broke, you're stranded on the bottom on the sea surviving while you find the 9 scattered pieces of it) gives for around 6 hours of play without rushing (once you know the rules you can rush it quite easy) Once you finish it you unlock the 'Survivor Mode' (AKA Hard Mode) or you can play it on Sanbox mode.

The survival aspect isn't on the hard side either. Food is a bigger issue early game and the predator AI is quite simple and predictable once you get to know it. Then as usual you have the crafting part which works pretty much as every other game. There's harder games out there if you're looking for a challenging survival experience. Far Sky falls more on the easy side of the survival genre.

The ambience is what got me most of the game. The visual style got me from the first moment and I loved diving deeper to more haunting scenery. It also quite translates the loneliness feeling of being underwater.

On the bad side, I feel like this game would fully blossom with modding capacity and it could have been polished a bit more. But it's still a gem in it's actual (and definitive. The dev has stated a sequel might happen but development on this game is done) state.

So TL:DR a not fully polished gem that is worth more than meet the eye.

Best Thermal Drill Simulator on the market.
If you played Payday 1, well you already know the drill (wink-wink, nudge-nudge) If not.

Payday 2 is -like it's predecessor- a wave based Coop FPS with a side of robbing banks. Killing Floor meets Heat.
Expect lots of angry cops shooting at you. Expect lots of special cops beating you down to a pulp. Expect all of that while going through objectives (Like fixing a jammed drill, which you'll do A LOT, or carrying heavy bags of loot to safety)

Stealth heists have been revamped from PD1 and a new stealth mechanic allows for some heists to be completed ninja-style.

There's a lot of skills to specialize into, perk decks to spice your character build. Weapons and mods to stop an army (And you will need to stop an army) And a varied ammount of masks and customization options to fancy the best mask to scare poor civilians.

So if robbing banks with the cheapest and most prone-to-jams brand of drill in the entire market, while under heavy enemy fire is your thing. Then Payday 2 is your game

A word of advice though. Huge ammount of DLC. Heists, weapons and weapon mods are within DLC packs. But to be fair, you can play a lot with just the stock weaponry and many Heist DLCs are worth their price. (And you only need to own the heists DLC to host a game, not to play it)

And as usual with all Coop Games It's best served with friends (Although it includes bots so you can play it solo if you wish)

A great Hack & Slash RPG.
Lots of loot to grind for.
A story mode to keep you entertained for some hours
NG+ mode after you beat the game.
Lots of Mods and Steam Workshop.

F2P Done right. Must Play
This game is one of those few games that should be played by everyone. And it comes down for the cheap price of FREE!
And it really is Free to Play. No hidden 'Pay-to-Win' surprises, no tiresome grinding in order to advance in the game.
The only thing being premium enables is to get cosmetics and trade abilities. Other than that, you can have the same fun than a premium user without spending a dime.

But paying does pay off. Access to literally tons of cosmetics to customize yourself. Access to a rich and thriving trading economy. Expanded backpacks to hoard lots of hats.

Not to mention the humor and a lore that has become part of Valve and Steam itself. Well worth trying.

Come for the price, stay for the fun.
