This has been my first review of any game basically how I feel that the ratings do not justify the game.

I got to admit. The first few weeks of MH:W was abysmal. Constant disconnections, poor servers and SGD$80 for that? Who would do that?

But though quietly, CAPCOM has been working at the core issue of the game. Over the first few weeks, from getting DC-ed every 15min, 2 patches came in and now, I can't remember the last time I had problems with connectivity. The game is amazing. Besides the rather limited Monsters compared to say MHGU, this is exactly what I feel CAPCOM will be using from here on out to push for future MH games.

I will not cover the gameplay nor the kind of game it is, there are pretty much many reviews out there to get a good sense of what the game is like. The MH franchise is generally directed at a targeted audience. BUT! If you are interested in getting on the MH series, World is the best and most friendliest way to jump in.

TL;DR: It was really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ at first, but give CAPCOM credit where is due. In the span of 2 weeks, they fixed it and now its starting to show the worth of the $80 bucks.
