I wasn't sure how they were going to do this second game and still keep that same focus on psychosis and torment after the ending of the first game, while following Senua down a different path, but after just 2 hours, damn, I see it now. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll stop there but just know that if you enjoyed the first game, you'll love this one too. You won't get much guidance about parrying or what the markers mean with it being so cinematic, but it's not too difficult to figure out and it's got adaptive difficulty just like the first game, so if you're struggling it'll adjust for you. I'm playing on a rig with a 4080 SUPER in 2K, I'm getting 130ish FPS but I've locked my FPS to 60 just so my GPU doesn't get as toasty since it's running at 98% load! Hellblade 2 is absolutely gorgeous and looks as close to real life as we're going to get for a while! Ninja Theory have done a great job here too at making sure that as good as it looks, it's also optimised well, obviously I can't speak for lower to mid range GPUs and builds but it's butter smooth with no bugs or spikes so far!

*EDIT*
Well, I've finished the game and just... wow. I think I'm going to go into game depression again now after realising I'm not going to play a game like that again for a long time. What a captivating story, I didn't want to put it down, just like the first game.

It's actually quite refreshing that the game is so short, it's absolutely brimming with beauty, a story made with passion, interesting characters, and intense combat as well as some quite eerie, dark encounters. I came away from this game not wanting anything more from it - other than another sequel. I think I'm going to dive back in and get the collectables just so I can experience it again!

Just... Incredible, if you liked 1, BTS and 2, I guarantee you'll absolutely love this one too. I was afraid when I saw the trailers for this True Colours that it'd be too 'woke', but it's balanced so nicely, and I absolutely love every aspect of it, my only beef is that it was over too soon, but... then I started my second playthrough.

First off, Tabletop Simulator is an amazing piece of software and it's lead me to play board games with friends and family that I'd never have considered playing them with before this.

I just wanted to add that Tabletop Sim might come with a plethora of accessible games thanks to it's vast amount of mods but that doesn't mean board game developers are losing out on a ton of money because of it. I'm only one person but before TTS I'd purchased ZERO tabletop games in their physical form, since buying Tabletop Sim I now own a bunch of physical board games that I've played here first, including Gloomhaven. Being able to try these games without spending ridiculous amounts of money is wonderful and I'd recommend it to anyone.

A great feature of the PH is that it allows you to play the game in two ways, as an architect, or medical specialist, and this is altered dynamically so you can switch the way you play at any given time. I found diagnosing and treating patients especially interesting, but soon ended up limited by my lack of treatment facilities so ended up having to put my construction hat back on. I expanded the Hospital in order to house and recruit not only more skilled staff members but ones that specialised in different areas and were better equipt to treat my patients, like surgeons and radiologists for example.

In terms of building Project Hospital has a fairly substantial amount of content available, I actually managed to build the Doctors Surgery down the road from me rather easily with the building tools available. One negative for me in regards to the building side of things is that PH doesn't have enough customisation options on certain objects like doors, walls, and floors. By this I mean the colours available, materials, patterns, and everything just ends up looking very similar, which isn't too far off the truth in a real-world Hospital I guess, so it may be intentional.

One gripe for me when I first started playing was that I felt like the tutorial sort of threw me to the lions far too early on, and I would have liked more time practising my skills in a much smaller building. I ended up quitting the tutorial and jumped into sandbox mode where I started a tiny little doctors surgery to practice in, this for me was a much, much better way to learn and had me enjoying PH a hell of a lot more.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a serious, intense simulator with an enormous amount of micro-management, then I'm confident that Project Hospital is for you. However, if you're looking for something more casual like The Sims 4 then it's likely you'd enjoy Two Point Hospital over this, but prepare to feel like an infant solving basic problems if you do decide to go for the latter.

I think Two Point Hospital targets a much younger audience than myself and as a 31 year old it's far too childish for me and not enough 'simulation'. Project Hospital is a much better Hospital Sim than this in my opinion but that might just be because I find this a little too immature. If it had a little more realism in it I'd probably enjoy it a lot more but the treatments and symptoms are just a little too ridiculous.

38 Hours in so far, there was a bit of a learning curve at the beginning but after starting again several times with different classes I settled into the game and fell in love. Thoroughly enjoying this masterpiece and would love to see more like this.

It's like a ♥♥♥♥ game of hide and seek except you can't really hide because killers just exploit stupidly op abilities and ♥♥♥♥ you all up within about 5-6 minutes of a match.

Possibly the best game I've ever played and I've only owned it for 3 hours and 40 minutes.

Early Access Review
The most fun you can have is going on a PVE server and seeing how long it takes for a player to kill you. My record is within 5 minutes. 0/10 Unfinished Trash that USED to be a good game. Stop destroying it and stop selling the game to 12 year olds!
