This game is not 1.0, its not beta nor even alpha. The game I just played is still in pre alpha quality with the amount of joke bugs bad map designs, terrible movement, and lack of even complete sound design -let alone bad sound design... The fact you are calling this a 1.0 is a complete joke to everyone who bought this game. How does your game function worse, feel worse, sound worse, and look worse then call of duty WaW from 2007. Many smaller indie teams have done amazing projects of high quality while this team has the audacity to call this 1.0. The gun jitters and theres no momentum on movement. Nor do gun sounds sound good, melee sfx is awful, and no sfx really for buying perks. Nothing tells me more that a dev does not care about their game then doing just the bare minimum. They can't even put effort into the sounds when its one of the cheapest things you can make using a mic and an enclosed room with a few objects around the house? Go play tons of other indie games where the devs actually create a quality product and arent fixing bugs like aim assist not working on a specific map. Talk about spaghetti code

Early Access Review
This is the game I didn't know I always dreamt of until I played it. It became my second most played game on Steam in less time than any other game I've ever played for good reason. I love this game.

Its an Isometric, Sandbox, Simulator.
The Isometric camera reminds me of ye olden days of gaming on my mothers old Dell office computer and trying those 100+ game pack CDs. The Sandbox is fully customizable to your desire with in-game settings. And don't get me started on the bountiful mods provided by so many lovely people on the steam workshop!

However I must warn you before purchasing this game. Do yourself a favor and watch people play it first on Youtube. Or at the very least give it a solid dozen attempts at playing the game in the beginning, and don't let death discourage you... you are supposed to die. Its the first thing the game reminds you of every run after all. Treat this aspect of the game like a roguelike, getting better with every run. Its a simulator first, a game second. What that means is that there are mechanics and keybinds and controls that are meant to simulate more authentic experiences of the zombie apocalypse. Its like Rimworld or Kenshi in that it is cold, and unforgiving. But if you give this game the time of day, and really try to learn it, you will find yourself seamlessly going through the motions of the controls and finally be able to truly immerse yourself in the world of your character. You will feel thirsty, tired, and just as depressed as they do after hacking their way through a small Kentucky towns former population. And that cigarette they smoke to calm their nerves will be enjoyed all the more for your shared efforts.

This Game helps to fulfill a fantasy we all have in this modern age, that of the zombie apocalypse, and it's the first game I think has truly found the right way to do so. It may have its quirks and issues... and I will be honest, once you know the game and its mechanics well enough mods are REQUIRED to truly create the flawless experience I've come to love... but I'm still thankful to the Developers for crafting such a unique gaming experience. Hopefully you too will come to love this game as I do. Thank you for reading, and may your time with this game be memorable!
